So Vince, what happens if you buy the two day ticket and it rains out? Do we get $15 off a regular show next year?....ya know kinda like last year when people couldn't come back the next day. And who cares what they run Friday night...one day show is one day for Lucas late models. $50 for a 20k to win race is obsurd.

Tommy I doubt many people look at pricing until the week of the race.
To be fair Tommy's been looking at it all year what makes you think other people haven't been too when does it matter when you know the cost if you knew last year or next week the price is the price go to the Steelers game the next day and take $50 with you and see what kind of show you get to see you know this racetrack is in the Pittsburgh market and in direct competition with the big league sports teams so if you think $50 is a lot which it is not like I said try that trick at Heinz Sunday I hope you understand what a bargain you are getting on regular nights again this is the competitor to Pirates Steelers and Penguins games so do you like racing or not?

You're really comparing the NFL to a local dirt late model touring race?
No I'm comparing the NFL to a national dirt late model touring race you must be new to racing Lucas late models go all over the country you can look up their schedule if you don't believe me how can you say this race is not competing for entertainment dollars of people in the Pittsburgh market Pittsburgh Steelers Pittsburgher 100 I don't know if you noticed but they both have Pittsburgh in them.

Bitching is one thing. This is unethical price gouging. I fail to understand the Mileys reasoning and point of view that this is done to eliminate confusion in case of rain...anyone want to take a swing at explaining that one?
Abe, price gouging is rife in our society. Have you seen what the tickets for Elton John or Celine Dion at PPG Paints Arena cost? Same with football games, hockey games, just about anything you can name. Not saying its right, but you make it sound like only the Mileys are doing it. Payday loans carry usurious interest rates, which in the past would have been illegal instead of just unethical today. People vote with their feet and pocketbooks and will go elsewhere if not happy with the price, which is exactly what I do on many occasions. My bitch is why do we have to have the same complaints year after year.

Maybe complaining year after year is out of frustration or it is the American way. Don"t know flash but good luck getting an answer.

I disagree. Depending on how far you have to travel and how far other races are from you that day, $20 is worth seeing it live. I also wouldn't pay the $30 because I think it will be on MAV sometime.

football verses racing
Same with football. I've never been to a live NFL game and probably won't put up what i'd expect to be a couple of hundred bucks to see one. But I'd spend a grand or two to go see a Super Bowl.
edit: after last years fixed outcome, I think I'd skip a super bowl the same as a regular NFL game
and... after what I saw at Sharon of the WoO lates, I'd not only pay the $50 to see WoO lates but also not $30. Frankly the WoO show at Sharon was no better then a local Friday show at Lernerville.

Have you ever been to Lernerville?

I was off by one car. Sorry. 28 cars qualified as per Race Monitor. Yes Paul, I've been to Lernerville.

I'll figure your correct on the car count because I don't think I got there until after qualifying because I don't remember seeing it.
