0 $75 pit pass!
If a team isn't going to attend based on the pit pass price then they probably don't have a chance in hell anyway. Not defending the prices...just saying. Dylan Yoder is really the only guy from that neck of the woods that ventures over to PPMS on occasion anymore. It will be more interesting to see who comes down from the North after being at R7 now that it's just a 1 day show. The Pittsburghers of the early 2000's were heavily supported by the Stateline-Eriez contingent, but not so much anymore.

$100 plus entry fee.
$500 in tires..yes you will need 4 new tires if you want a shot at winning.
You do the math close to a grand just to run this race.

jo73, you'll get no argument from me. I would not be shocked at all to see 22-24 cars. I was trying to be positive. LOL.

Car count is highly over-rated in my opinion. I'm much more concerned with a quality field which they will have.

Flash when your pain $50 to watch a race and you can even get a fulfilled for a touring series something is seriously wrong.
Shouldn't we wait until after the race actually happens to make that judgment?

They will be lucky to have 24 for a full starting field. There are what 13 cars who run Lucas full time? Pierce has backed out, Marlar is going 411 supposedly, Kent Robinson got his car junked at the World. Someone said Bloomer is coming but his website has no races for Saturday. Rick Eckert website says he is off this weekend. So besides the Lucas 13 who else is there? Miley, Saterlee, Norris, Zeigler, Hodgkiss ??

Its Barbara, and the cost put him out of the sport, couldn't afford to keep racing. He drove the RJ1 crate car in Florida last year then he made a guest shot driving the 93X late last year.

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but late model fields have been shrinking rapidly the past several years. Let's look at several recent races on the WoO and Lucas Oil Late Model Series Tours. These results are all within the last month or so. For the WoO series, Outlaw Speedway had 23 cars, Selinsgrove had 29 cars, Stateline had 27 cars, Sharon had 24 cars, I-96 had 26 cars, Williams Grove had 30 cars, and Port Royal had 41 cars. In the Lucas series, Kokomo Speedway had 23 cars, Tyler County Hillbilly 100 had 34 cars, Portsmouth had 31 cars, Brownstown had 34 cars, and Ponderosa had 27 cars. Obviously some of the bigger races had many more cars, but this problem is not unique to PPMS. As far as paying $50, I am more than happy to watch a $5K Rush Late Model race and the $2K Rush Modified race along with the Lucas Oil Late Models.
