Sounds about right. Might want to change gears. But, in reality who from Lernerville will make the tow to PPMS or PPMS to Lernerville. So in my op it is up to the racers where they want to race.

So I'd you run lernerville, you can go to ppms with out changing anything on the car correct?
Correct. They could actually unbolt a 100# of lead as the LV open motors have to weigh 3000# versus Penn Ohios 2900#. And probably take a little gear out. But yeah thats it.

Within the last year these LV regulars have raced at PPMS:
McPherson
Dietz
McDonald
Lambert
Moyer
Zambotti
Given they all had 604s and still came up and ran against open motors I think thats a pretty good draw and expect it to grow more this season. PPMS guys couldnt race at LV except for Penn Ohio shows.

Vince how many of the ones you said came on a weekly show not specials only. I like PPMS but the stocks do not have much support weekly and yes some teams can not race two nights, meaning the racers go where they want to race or when they can! Yes they race at PPMS special shows which is great and you alwas get great support for the Laboon race My question is the ones who can race two nights why don"t they come to PPMS?

How many stock teams actually can afford or want to run 2 nights in a row is my question.
I agree, most of those guys ran if LV rained out or had the previous night off.

The numbers of drivers and race teams that want to race two or more times a week has been going down for years in all classes!!!! When I was a kid in the old NASCAR days of the early 50s, drivers in the western PA area could race 7 times a week!!!! Tuesday through Saturday and twice on Sunday!!!
GOOD RACING TO ALL

I'm not quite your age Walt, so I only remember 4 nights a week, and Sundays just depended on if dad wanted to race bad enough to tow to Franklin, and he usually didn't.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
