Well since its co-sanctioned with the woo it will be interesting for sure. I could see them doing it and cutting the purses big time just to run the race with no fans. Also they may move the date to later in the year. It's not like Lernerville is on the hook for 100% of the money paid out.

Our wonderful Governor is suppose to be move Butler County to green next Friday. I do not expect this to change anything as he is still not permitting large gatherings. If a limited amount of people are permitted to attend the Firecracker then they will have to figure out who gets to attend. It would be nice to have some sort of idea so many of us can cancel our planned vacation days for that weekend.

Look into getting a reserve seat call Lernerville office. That way you are guaranteed a seat. Hope this helps.

Too bad there isn't a clause in the constitution prohibiting states from removing the rights to liberty and assembly, like, say, the 14th amendment.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

I think their liquor license puts them in a tough spot with the state. If they do run the Firecracker, I'm guessing it will be PPV only or PPV with limited fan attendance.

They will not race without fans. Do you know how much money they will loose with camping, quads, picnic table rentals, shitters rentals, ect. Fr. Tim all ready told us no racing without fans.

Now unless the woo over rules them since its co sanctioned, could get a bit interesting.

Even if they do race Lucas has scheduled makeup races that weekend, so lowers the caliber of elite teams there.

Unless a lot of local team support this race I don't see more than 30 cars.

Well, one thing they could do is to see if there are any major SLM conflicts with the Stampede weekend, and if there isn't, reschedule it using those dates. Just a thought.

I could totally see it being rescheduled Skull For later in the year. I'm sure they're not too happy Lucas scheduled on there weekend. We all know it is a cash grab event for both parties. What will vicky do?

With schedules basically tossed out the window. Every track out there is going to look for open dates to get shows in. Problem is how many fans can adjust work schedules to be able to camp and attend the shows. Because of all these protests going on, I think if you see the covid 19 cases start to go back up. Racing, and many other sporting events, on the local level may be done for the year.

If anyone finds something out can they please let the rest of us know. I am disappointed the Lucas guys won't be there. I dont think that will have an effect on whether or not they run the 3 day event or nor though.

Our great Governor speaks again. It appears that racing tracks have to jump thru hoops to have racing once again and that's with limited spectators. Anyone try eating or drinking thru a mask while watching a race in 80 degree weather. This appears to be the norm for the rest of the foreseeable future until this virus is gone. Maybe I read his statement wrong hopefully i did. If anyone can shed some new light on this please post.

They cant require masks anywhere. Only suggest. I seen at most 5-10 masks Sunday at tri city. I wouldnt worry about masks too much and let that decide anything for you

HR 836 passed the PA Senate last night with enough bipartisan support to kill Adolf Wolf's GESTAPO emergency declaration orders/powers.
It also had enough votes to to become a majority vote making it veto proof.
So effectively Wolf and his SS Troopers have no power to enforce his unconstitutional/illegal edicts.
