#454277 Lernerville Stampede Finale Results Today/Tonight: 10-15-23

Posted by DegenerationX on 17 October 2023 - 05:40 AM

Plenty of race tracks available to buy or lease to test your theory. Your theory sounds easy and practical enough, but you have to admit they are exponentially more successful in what they do than most. I just hope they appreciate what they have in Dan Bauman. What than man does to provide an exceptional racing surface is extremely rare.

Website says the balance of the show will be made up in early '24. They probably lost their tail on this event this year.

They need to do something different, starting with scheduling. Everyone knows that the weather around here begins to get sketchy at the end of September into early October. Secondly, instead of 10 divisions, why not trim it to six and run two nights? I know the obvious answer is that "practice" night is relatively easy revenue while 10 divisions equal more back gate. However, their physical fan attendance and cars per division would likely increase without holding team's hostage for Thursday.  For most fans, this event has turned into a slog nearly every year. And from the looks of the stands, fans have grown weary of it.

All these Keyboard GMs and Promoters that know exactly how to run a racetrack and make millions of dollars doing it, but tracks keep closing.  Doesn't make sense.

What are the tompsons doing to this track. First they schedule lucas over the woo for the firecracker, then they lose both woo touring series for the first time ever. Now the all stars are not even coming. No don martin memorial unless its un sanctioned. What the hell is going on?

In no particular order:

Don Martin is rolling over in his grave

Tony Stewart is buying the track

Ryan Homes bought the property to turn it into a housing plan and it's just not announced yet

The Tomsons (learn how to spell you jagoffs!) are turning it into a horsetrack with a sportsbook

Walmart and Sam's Club are coming to Sarver

Helen Martin is getting the track back in court, so they couldn't schedule any races yet

Ferree's bought the property and turning the site into a bunch of well pads

Don Martin is still rolling over in his grave

Shut the f*ck up and calm the f#ck down, everything will work out, as the living legend A-a-Ron Rodgers once said R-E-L-A-X!

I have no class Walt.

You clearly have way too much time on your hands though!

#436166 Matt Williamson

Posted by DegenerationX on 02 February 2018 - 09:57 PM

Mat Williamson is far from the first or last driver to "leave" Lernerville.  The track has survived the following drivers "leaving" over the years:

Brad Doty

Dale Blaney

Tim Shaffer

Rod George

Jimmy Hawley

Mark Cassella

Danny Holtgraver

more recently the Matus clan and Brandon Spithaler

Ed Ferree

Chub Frank

Lynn Geisler

Gregg Satterlee

Jared Miley

just to name a few,

People "left" when Don Martin ran the track, people left when Risch and WRG ran the track and drivers will leave during the Tomson regime.

Some leave for better opportunities, others leave for sour grapes, while still others leave because they simply run out of money.

I doubt losing Mat Williamson and Carl Bowser will spell doom for the track.  They are fan favorites that will be missed, but others always fill the void.  To blame the Tomsons for people leaving is plucking the low hanging fruit.  Sure they piss some people off, but so did Don and Gary.  You can't make everyone happy.

honeybadger is just another in a long line of keyboard cowboys, go back under your bridge little troll.

#421715 HOSTAGE AT LEARNERVILLE

Posted by DegenerationX on 14 May 2016 - 07:37 AM

*Bad spelling and piss poor grammar intended*

Yesterday:

This is the best track ever!

I've been there every Friday since the track opened.

What time do gates open?

I hope Tony Stewart comes.

Are the rain checks I have from 1987 still good?

Did yinz cancel the races yet?

Will Danny Holtzgraver have his new shirts for sale?

Can I bring my own cooler of Natural Ice?

Today:

Racing/track prep/order of events at Learnerville was rediculous last night blah blah blah

They're running the place into the ground blah blah blah

Gary should be fired blah blah blah

Don Martin is rolling in his grave blah blah blah

I'm never going back blah blah blah

Next Friday:

This is the best track ever!

I've been there every Friday since the track opened.

What time do gates open?

Are the rain checks I have from 1987 still good?

Did yinz cancel the races yet?

Can I bring my own cooler of Natural Ice?

Read every comment as:  "I have nothing better to do than constantly seek attention from strangers on racestud by making pointless posts and complaining about things that I have no idea no clue the f*ck I'm talking about, but hopefully a bunch of people will reply so I can make more rediculous comments back in response to theirs"

Further, a "hoastage" situation is when someone is threatening your life, you physically cannot leave without risking your life.

The All Stars determined the order of events last night, not the track.  They should have run the All Star qualifying, then support hot laps, then sprint heats, then stock heats, then dash & B, then Mods heat, then Sprint A, then support A's, but they didn't.  If the worst thing you had to do was spend an extra hour at the track last night, I bet anyone in a true "hoastage" situation would gladly trade you places.

It's called Red Bull, by two cans, go to work, and please shut, the hell, up!

#400504 Lernerville Season Stats

Posted by DegenerationX on 04 November 2014 - 11:20 AM

3 - the number of nights the turn 4 restrooms had to be closed due to flooding.
20 - the number of nights the scoreboard didn't work.
? - the number of broken bleacher boards. ( see if you can find out what this number is. )

Tell Round Robin to shit BEFORE he eats 13 Action Track Snacks and there won't be any flooding!
