No it's not ~ "people" voted him to the highest office in America because he IS black.

Not sure Obeserver but the Obama administration has done more for returning vets than any other. Romney never mentioned them or the war in his convention speech. He said he needed to address "important things" when he defended it on Fox (faux) news.
As far as voter ID. I have NO problem with showing an ID to vote, as long as every registered voter has one. The Commonwealth by their own admission by cross tabbing DOT and Voter Reg records showed that over 700,000 Pennsylvania voters did not have a valid ID. there is no way that the Commonwealth was going to get all of those registered voters a photo ID by election day. Now, they just happen to be moslty made up by people that don't drive, the elderly, the poor or urban citizens. There is NO way the state was going to get all of them ID in the time frame available before this falls election. Also, the Attorney Generals lawyers defending the law could not provide ONE case of fraud becasue of voter impersonation. NOT ONE!!!! Can you say a solution in search of a problem? The Republican judge was right to delay implementation of the law.
If you want everyone to have an ID to vote, fine. I really have no problem with that. However, make sure everyone has the ID. This by Republican leader Mike Turzai's own admission was NOT the intent of the legislation. It was intended to disenfranchise voters and help Romney win PA. As citizens we ALL have the right vote folks. I don't agree with most of the comments in this thread (and it has no place on this board IMO) but you have the right to express them AND vote. Any attempt to impead that effort is a travesty and unamerican. Rep. Daryl Metcalf from butler was the prime sponsor of the legislation. He is a certifiable nut job. I have no clue how the fine people of the Butler area put this guy in office. He believes that if you don't have a photo ID that you are lazy and lazy people don't have the right to vote. Really??? God help us all if we are going to have someone start determining what citizens have the right to vote. Especialy if it is a whack job like Metacalf.
Finally, if you think the policies of the old Mittster will be good for the masses that show up at dirt tracks every weekend, well, I'd like a little of what you are smoking.

I don't think you have paid much attention to everything this administration has done to our military men & women or us as a nation. First off he doesn't even know what their called, he repeatedly called them corpse men when talking about our dead soldiers ~ pretty disrespectful! Navy Seals who risked their lives along with top military officials have put out a video pleading with the President to "shut his mouth" that Obama has repeatly given out military secrets and risked the lives of our soldiers. He has them posted in dangerous positions WITH OUT any ammunition. Our Libyan Ambassador asked for more protection because he felt their lives were in danger and was continuely denied. Obama arms our enemies but not us! He is tightly involved with the Muslim Brotherhood giving them BILLIONS of dollars, having them to dinner at the white house, giving them positions in the white house staff and arming them. He took us from 5000 nuculear missills that tax payers paid for down to 1500 and wants to get rid of the rest!!! Romeny wants to built our military back up to protect us in this very dangerous world while Obama wants to completely disarm us. You are out of touch with our military if you think they like working for this commander in chief. We have never had a President like this. I don't care if you're Republican or Democrat this is a serious election that basically comes down to do you want to stay American? and don't forget he thinks he's been to all "57 States" When a soldier is killed they receive a letter with a stamped signature. When our Libyan Ambassador's body and the others were being brought in to be recognized what was he doing in the room ~ this is time stamped! Tweeting to buy his sweatshirts for campaign money. I have to stop because I am getting so mad that anyone can even think this man could have our best interests at heart. I don't care if you don't even like Romeny ~ atleast he's an American.

Actually, the U.S. Constitution does allow for the qualification of voters. It very specifically allows individual states and commonwealths to determine voter qualifications.

You are not necessarily guaranteed the right to vote by the U.S. Constitution just because you were born in this country.

I sincerely do not believe that anyone could support a liberal agenda AND have read, understood and support the U.S. Constitution.
