In Topic: gas prices lower how about race fuel prices?

01 January 2015 - 08:35 AM

The answer to the original question is NO the cost will not drop. This is straight from vp fuels mouth:

"The chemicals divisions of the refiners and global oil companies trade chemicals without regard to the price of crude or retail prices at the pump. Many chemicals used in racing fuels here and around the world are also used in other industries and it is that demand that can keep the prices up or drive them even higher. Chemical suppliers decide on the margins and set the prices. Sellers of pump gas trade it as a commodity."

king of the Concrete is a race I have wanted to go to for a long time. We actually had a young racer who races the series we promote that won down there last year. Unfortunately, its miles away and the weekend before Christmas. Simply dont have that kind of money the week before Christmas to go. Anyone got a thousand dollar bill to send me down there?Lol.

Any racefan, big car, small car or in between would love Columbus indoors. I highly recommend if anyone is interested in some intense racing to google or show up on November 22nd. Even by big car standards the entensity of kart racing on a tight concrete lightning fast service will give ya quite the rush. That is a guarantee. 6 second laps on concrete with coke syrup is crazy fun.
