Will flagmen become obsolete?

Lincoln speedway initiated a virtual flagging system last week at their annual Ice Breaker. It is an LED display which signals the flags while being controlled by the race director in the tower. My first reaction was negative but after seeing it in action I think its a great idea. Its safer for the flagman cause he won't be in harm's way and its easier for the drivers to see.
