My Dad, who passed away two years ago, bought the trailer that he used to haul his first go karts with off of Guy. Because of that small interaction, we always rooted for him. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

Boy, rough crowd. My comment was simply based on the idea that if I'm paying $25 to get in the door (or $40 for a pit pass), I'm obviously not there to watch crate modifieds, but they have me by the balls (and they know it) since I'm definitely not going to leave before the All Star feature.
As I said, the rest of the night was very good. Track was great, good car count, etc. I just think that the running order could've been handled differently. Especially running crate modifieds after the 305 feature. Run the 305s, which replaces the "intermission" that Mercer apparently had last night, then roll the ASCoC feature after the 305 feature. I don't think that's an outrageous thing to expect.

Just one major negative. Don't hold the fans who came to see the All Stars hostage. The headline event should never follow two support features of 305 sprints and crate modifieds. I can live with the 305 feature first because it filled the gap between the B main and feature, but there is absolutely no reason to run the modifieds before the ASCOC.
