#418051 An Open Letter To Promoters

Posted by deadpush on 08 January 2016 - 08:53 PM

You have to protect the racers from themselves...qualify and start on the same tires. ..you can only change a tire if it is flat.

Good question, deadpush.
The right rear will be tagged (marked) and that will be he tire required for the event. Not sure it will matter much on the other corners because there will be very little tire wear and hence, not an advantage to bolt new ones on. In fact, it may be better to run the tires with a few laps on them.

I am open for suggestions. This series is being created COMPLETELY by the racers. This is your series.

If you are stopped when the yellow light comes on and the caution comes out, you go to the rear of the field.

2 lapped cars spun and brang out the caution. Ferrell spun and didn't hit them cuz he had no where to go. Of course you give the leader his spot back. Also I don't care where your from,if your illegal dq the guy. That's how you keep fans and drivers coming back. Kudos to thundermountain.lots of yellows , yes I don't think bo ever thought he would have the problem of too many cars this early in the going. Huge crowd and car counts keep going up. It was late when we left but the guy is trying. And that's more than you can say about almost every other track in the area. Quit bitchin about seeing a great race for the win and your buddy didn't win.

There was never any doubt in my mind as to who the author was and that the article came from DRC. I think that you have to ask yourself, that out of all of the articles that have been written about the state of short track racing today, you chose to post this article. Consider the activity of the past two weeks on this Racestud an intervention of sorts. All of this conversation has taken has taken place in the interest of the continuance of PPMS. Some of the criticism has not been positive or constructive, but most of it has been constructive and in the best interest of PPMS. These people posting on this board are your customers. I think that you should welcome all comments, whatever the content. PPMS is in the unique position of finding out "what is wrong", while they are still in business and have a chance to correct the problems. Remember, don't shoot the messenger, listen to the message and evaluate the information. Please listen to your customers while you still have them. All of this activity means that your customers still care deeply about the longevity of PPMS. I ask, "Do you"?
