Yesterday PPMS was a track in as good a shape as any I've ever seen.

The Crate and Pro Stock feature racing being able to see the cars preform on most of the track as if up close, was as good a race as I've ever seen.

Stopped at Bowsers for BBQ brisket on my way there which was great, got to visit old friends and meet some new race fans.

TOTALLY TOTALLY a great trip to PPMS and if what I experienced yesterday is any sign of the future, thank you very much to the new owners.

Flash if ya see me there today please say hello.

It's going to be tough forkin out $50 to watch today but if the track is anything like yesterday I may dig a bit deeper and watch again today.

GREAT TRACK AND GREAT RACING YESTERDAY !

edit:  YES the crate late racing and the Pro stocks were top shelf to watch yesterday.

got a bit cold and left after the fantastic crate feature.

Hell must have frozen over since you always complained about crate racing.

Features in or not last night was some of the most fun racing I've seen in a long time.

Exciting and great racing in the heat races which were well worth the price of admission.

My hats off to the Tomson's allowing the announcer to ask everyone to place their hand over their heart to honor our great country with the citizens salute during the singing of our national anthem.

It was a long time ago for all of us alive when President Roosevelt to display our opposition to Hitters siege heil in Germany gave the start to our civilian salute to our flag and country.

A little history about our local dirt tracks and the civilian salute in our area.

Some of you may remember In 2004 there were 10+ dirt tracks in our area which all for awhile asking us fans to salute our country by placing your hand over your heart during our national anthem.

That was all tracks in our area EXCEPT Lernerville which never permitted it's announcer to ask fans to offer their civilian salute.

The announcer who then asked it of us at PPMS was told he could not at Lernerville.

Thank you Tomson family last night it was noticed by many fans I talked to that it was the first time they remembered Lernerville asking to honor our country with our personal civilian salutes.

Hey goof this is a racing board, not a political one. Take that somewhere else.

Thanks flash and yes feel bad for Joe Martin who always races everyone clean. The two track wonder Duritsky just completely destroyed Joe and they were racing for like 7th place, just a bonehead move.

Up to 5K to win Saturday's ULMS race

The million dollar question is will the feature take the green flag before 11 PM?

Flash, it seems like everytime you go to Latrobe, the show drags on forever. What was the hold up tonight? Also, wait till the next time you go to PPMS. Place is taking shape with the new owners, they did a lot of simple stuff like grading the entrance road so its not a rough ride and getting rid of the weeds and trees.
