no they are not and if they are its a guarded secret. the bummer about this for the racers to be able to see how you stack up in the long run last year randy crosley did not win a race in the trucks but did very well in points because he finishes races and is consistant. plus next year when your trying to get sponsers it helps and they probably could get someone to volunteer to do it
I agree that the points need to be done. Point standings are very important. Some drivers use that to show their progress to the sponsors. There are driver development programs out there, and point standings are very important when making application to those. I keep stats for Jessica, and along with that, I keep track of everyone's finish position in the trucks. If someone would show me how they figure points at Waynesfield, I could keep the points for the trucks.

I believe this was a nice jester for someone to volunteer their time to at least help out the trucks so they could see wear they stand point wise. We can all see wear you stand "dirt FOOL" and understand wear your user-name cames from.I agree that the points need to be done. Point standings are very important. I would say that that comment was a little out of the guidlines for race stud. We are talking about points not about what u think of someone elses driving.

i think if you would do that you would be MOST of the truck racers hero and if you ask the track for the points formula and do the points stats if track officials would not help you it would not appear that they dont understand the importance of this to thier weekly racers . i hope they help you it would be positive thingI agree that the points need to be done. As for points they used to figure them two different ways.
1st method:
1st = 75 points
2nd= 70 points
3rd= 65 points
4th = 60 points
5th= 55 points
6th= 50 points
7th= 45 points
8th= 40 points
9th= 35 points
10th= 30 points
11th= 25 points
12th= 20 points
13th= 15 points
14th= 10 points
15th= 5 points
16-20 = 5 points
They would award 50 "show up" points if you took at least one competition green flag lap.
This was the easiest method to scoring points.
Now last year they had a weird method that made no sense and well.......obviously it didn;t mean anythig as nobody received any recognition....lol
anyway it was:
1= 75
2= 70
3= 65
4= 62
5= 59
6= 56
7= 53
8= 50
9= 47
10= 44
11= 42
12= 40
13= 38
14= 36
15= 34
16= 32
17= 30
18= 28
19= 26
20= 24
This system really sucked to keep track of and made no sense.
I would like to see bonus points for winning heat races also used with the first plan. What really left a sour taste in everyones mouth last year was that the year before we all decided to raise the pit price to $21 and the extra dollar went into a point fund. At the end of the year Greg and his crew threw a nice banquet that was appreciated by everyone!!!
Then last year they raised the price to $25 and there was no banquet or awards.
I'm sure Greg isn't going to promise you all anything that he can't hold. He stands behind his word and is a really good guy!!
Do you also keep track of how many people she bangs into, rams into or maybe puts into the wall

Totally uncalled for. This girl is one of the nicest people to talk to and she's just like any other racer....she takes the track to win. She always raced me clean when she could see that I was around.

Thanks Ogre for the info. Unless someone has a problem with it, I'm going to figure the truck points using the method they used last year. I'm not going to figure anything for heats, b-mains, bonus, etc. Just going to figure straight points for the feature positions. Will post the points here on racestuds as soon as I get them done.

thank you very much this is nice of you to do this i believe the truck racers should be happy about thisHere are the point standings for the Tuff Trucks. Only problem I have is for the first night of racing. There were only 10 positions listed in the results posted. If anyone has the positions 11-20, let me know and I'll add them in. Any suggestions, etc. are appreciated.
