When I hear back from the track with the system they use I will post it. I have sent them an e-mail and see if they will send me the formula.

I'm curious too. I thought we were using the method from last year when you and I figured points. I'm just glad that the track is keeping the points. It is more "official" that way. I do hope they post them on the web site, though. Thanks Tami. We all appreciate it. JUST CHECKED THE WEB SITE AND THE POINTS ARE POSTED UNDER 1/3 RESULTS!! THANKS SO MUCH!!

Skip: First of all, I take great offense at your remark! I am a Christian and there isn't anything I don't trust and believe from God!!!!!

Second.........I can only speak for myself....and I didn't say a single thing that doubted Tami's work!! I was just curious as to what method she used. There are so many ways to figure points, and I only wondered which one she used!! I thought I was being VERY appreciative of her time and effort!!! Why is someone always out there wanting to stir the pot?!!

Skip I also take offense to your comment. I NEVER SAID I DIDN'T TRUST ANYONE all I said was the numbers didn't match so it appeared they used a different system than we were using. The other 2 posts are people wondering the same thing NEVER did they mention THAT THEY DIDN'T TRUST THEM. I sent an e-mail to Tami asking her for the system and she replied to me today. All I was wondering was what system they used for future reference should they decide not to keep points. For those that are interested here is the system they are using but you got to TRUST me on this: 1st place is 125 it drops 5 points per place to 15th place. After that 16th thru 20th gets 50 points.... If you don't make the A main you get 25 show up points. Then everyone gets the total number of entries for that class added to these points. Example: A car places 2nd with 25 entries He gets 145 points.

Take it for what its worth there are a lot a people bending over backwards donating their time for the track. Like kenny taking his own time to post results. This season is a fill in season for Greg and the family. They are trying there best to satisfy the people and racers. They could bail out like some one did last year, But when some one posts so they can see where they are wrong with their points. When no one knows what system they are using. I have the highest respect for all parties involved, Greg his family and any one who races ,and all the workers. My point is dont make waves. be thankfull that your class was not left out like the stock cars, (for what ever reasons.) Every one has a week off to regroup and get their cars back together and come back for another enjoyable week of racing. Good luck to every one. Im done with it i have nothing in it but just trying to help out with the track so all who love racing have some where to go on sat night..

To me, this thread is pretty simple....

The basic start of this thread was that the track wasn't going to compile points. Now, They have agreed to.

case closed for me, (but daaaaaaaang, it didn't take that much drama. Noone has admitted to calling Greg or Tami.)

That simple.
