Has the 33 failed any tech yet??? My limited experience in racing has learned me one thing, ereryone is trying to win. If you think something can give you an advanate you do it. My simple opinion is it should be the track regulating the class, not the drivers. My favorite part of the truck class is the guys we race with. Everytime I've had a problem their has been other truck guys getting greasey with me and my crew to get it back on the track. engine claiming will change that, makes for a lot of hard feelings. Maybe I'd feel different if I wasn't having a freaking awesome year, but evry truck on the track is legal til they fail a tech in my opinion. Keeler is a great addition to the truck class, and I hate to hear he's upset. My brother was talking about how hard they raced side by side and clean and thats what its all about to me.

i dont know what this means but i saw mr. shobe look at the 20 ,33,71,2xand the 9c dont know what he was looking at but he did look . if they want to tech saftey equipment that would be cool cause the trucks appear to have defied gravity if a few instances and it has always worked out but a helmet and belt check would not be a bad thing.

The 5s was told to fire his motor as soon as the truck was unloaded. So I think it was more than safety that was being looked at. Didn't ask to see anything, just wanted to hear it run. <_<

Maybe it wasn't the sound. Might have been smelling that methanol everyone is using. That is why it was checked as soon as the truck arrived. By the time the race was over, the trucks running the half n half mix wouldn't still be running. Is anyone willing to admit they tried mixing gas and alky yet? Cummon....tell me how it worked????

Kenny. back when I was accused of running alcohol I was running Cam2 only. But at the time everyone else was only running pump gas =) I'm sure that people are running mixtures! I forget but I think the rules say gasoline only which includes Cam2! You know as well as I do, unless it's specific to a T people will read between the lines..............I did and I think everyone should....That's why we call it racing =)

Kenny I'll tell ya the truth. I'm running a 25% diesel mix its an old demo derby trick, only problem is motor won't shut off when its hot. I have to get on here cause the thought of not racing stinks!!

Ill bring the hotdogs. Nothing like a good campfire to keep the bugs away it is getting that time of year. Be like carl Edwards and the aflac duck in the car. Throw up a good smoke screen instead.
