OMG how did I forget about Walter he sure did kick a lot a ass back in the day!!Maybe Walter Bloomquist will come back out of retirement and show you what a steel block can do!!!

really does anyone here believe a steel block can compete with a real late model? yes the top 4 or 5 steel block guys in the area will beat the yoyo's that shouldn't be in a latemodel anyhow! and may upset a good latemodel once in a great while... but steel blocks around here, even the best ones will NEVER win against miley, satterlee, chub, bloomer or owens on a regular basis!! anyone on here that don't realize this ain't to bright........That said I don't think the big name guys will race here anyways,, but like said here before theres always one guy that will spend 10 billion dollars just to win there

Buckboard,I wish you could have attended the meeting then I would not have to answer this question again. At the meeting Jeff explained to everyone that he first wanted to try and bring the street stocks or the pure stocks back the way it was supposed to be,a class that someone could afford to go racing.Realizing that was impossible and that would be reinventing the wheel, that idea was shelved. The next best thing they thought would be try and start an inexpensive class were there were plenty of older chassis's and motor someone could put together for under 5000.00 dollars. It was never intended to be stepping class to super late models.I hope that answers your questions.
