what you guys don't seem to get is this is a charity race with volunteers working all the booths and everything, this woman is not a regular every week track owner and these other people don't do this week in and week out but you all expect a perfect show, i wish you could see things as to they are what they are but you all are looking for the perfect show ,sorry if you are dissapointed but it will be the best show they can possibly give you . as for starting fresh in the heat races i can't do any worse than i did in the first one the car broke a shock mount off and managed to have a lot of bugs to be worked out this week but thats what you get when you don't race for 2 years . thanks go out to animal and todd mathews for the help you can't find a bunch of racers any better than these guys no matter what track you go to . alright time to get to work and get ready for next week .

I have need been to a race that was perfect and that's not what I am expecting but as a promoter for a race or a race track you don't go off on rants on social media and tell racers and fans not to come ecpessially for a charity race.

OK BIG JOHN AS FOR THE CONCESSION, YES PEOPLE WHO WERE TO WORK DIDNT SHOW UP! MY FAULT? NO!

YES! YES, THAT IS YOUR FAULT! If you are the organizer of the show, you put together a dependable staff. Who did you ask to work the concession stand, the scorers from last year who took off after the races and left people standing around not getting paid?

BUT PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF AND THESE OTHER YAYHOOTS THAT RUN THEIR MOUTH ON HERE ALL THE TIME . DONT HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CLUE WHAT IT TAKES TO DO A REGULAR RACE LET ALONE A SPECIAL.

But you do have a clue, right? If so, make it happen! I don't think anyone is saying that it is easy, but if one pays to enter the gates, decent service is a fair expectation.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

EXTREMELY crappy of AMP to run next Saturday when CNB raceway park is going to do the Keystone Open...they could have run the Chili today, Sunday...so much for AMP management wanting to work with the other local tracks.

Just a reminder, the Chili race is not produced or promoted by AMP. The speedway was leased for the event. Today was my first choice also as there was no Steelers game to compete against but next week it is...

Not that they have to but maybe CNB will run their show the following weekend? I'd like to catch the CNB show but super lates at Selinsgrove plus a pro stock shootout are hard to pass up this time of year.

CNB has had that scheduled for a while now...AMP/lessee should have considered all options before going up against not only the Keystone Open next Saturday but all of the other scheduled events next Saturday...today would have been the perfect day...all that is going to do is make fans have to decide what to do, and I know CNB was really hoping for a good turnout...the Keystone Open was always a good show in the past...if I go anywhere it will be CNB...

Dirts for racin, asphalt is for getting there, really has nothing to do with this...this is all about common sense...and whoever is promoting this deal at AMP is not using much of it...will give AMP, not the promoter the black mark...

Its like comparing apples to oranges if you like asphalt racing go to cnb, Ipersonally would go dirtracing over paved anyday, so them having same day really has no signifigance.

What you say is true, and it is everyone's own preference...however, there are a lot of races going on next weekend, and people are already committed to a lot of them such as the Pittsburgher...AMP should have done their rain date today...not next Saturday...it will hurt their crowd and everyone else's...

will give AMP, not the promoter the black mark...

in what fantasy land does this even make sense? it's been stated at least 10 times that jeff and the amp crew have nothing to do with this...new ticket girls, new food workers, new 50/50 people...hell even a different concession menu....

I don't usually say too much out here, but have to jump in...
Jeff and AMP did not make this decision and are not any happier about it than we are at CNB. It splits the fans, the cars and goes against several other big Dirt Specials.
Jeff and I have a good working relationship and still do. If you want to complain then please talk to the promoter of the event.
Both AMP and CNB appreciate and need your support. This isn't the end of the world - both will be here again next year!

As far as the Pittsburgher, I don't see it affecting car counts at AMP so much as the crowd.

So OK, Jeff doesn't have anything to do with it...still a very bad decision on the part of the person renting the track for this event...I also understand that it's not the "End of the World," promoter should have stuck with original rain date...which I believe would have been today.

OK....Here is what I don't understand??? If this race is for charity....and you aren't profiting....Why not put a respectable purse that would attract more and better cars??? Charity begins at home....as the old saying goes! I thnik the racers could use some help as well!

I don't know how many of you watch the weather channel or anything like that we had a 25% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday was looking like a complete blow out was suppose to rain all day and all night long which is typical man trying to predict mother nature it just so happened it rained hard Saturday and was a beautiful day sunday so they canceled the show looked at weather and said why try tomorrow it gonna rain all day long so instead of having 99% of the people on here complain bout another drive all the way two hours back to the track next day and it cancel they thought wow great idea cancel till next Saturday night so we don't waste our time doing all this work for nothing think bout it people it common sense and we all know if they would have ran today and it got rained out you guys would be on here complaining bout them wasting our time and efforts so either way you cant stop it it human nature to complain about everything and anything we can so instead of sitting on here complaining show some respect for the people trying to do the right thing thank them and walk away me myself wanted to see it at thunder mountain again this year so I could try out the track for the first time but either way I can watch at amp and have a hell of a time doing so thanks for your hard work to put on a great show and we may bring a car this Saturday night so hope to see you all out there and on another note she tells it exactly how she sees it and it takes balls to say if you don't like it don't come but it the truth nothing more nothing less I have earned a lot of respect for people telling the truth right down the middle its not a perfectly ran thing it hard to find good help and caring people but she tries that's the biggest thing you can ask of her you realize how easy it is just to give up stop fighting for a better cause then what it is just to keep doing it ya you people from other locations would not maybe miss this race but us from the area would miss it I have been going to it since my dad first took me cant imagine them not running this race
