Yep. I've always seen in cases like this, the top 12 or so are set and any cars that show up for the 2nd date tag the b main. Only fair for those who supported the event. Extra cars in the other classes tag the rear of the heats that are already set.

I never complain about how the tracks are ran/operated/rules, but it was ridiculous. I was at the shed waiting for a drivers meeting at 1:30, because the racing was suppose to start at 2. 2 rolls around, no drivers meeting or racing so i ask and they say 2:15 for the drivers meeting. Then at the drivers meeting she says no pulling fenders, you cant do anything, you're allowed a funnel and gas
at the break. Also, you have to open the gas lid with a quarter. Like, really? What is someone going to do to a car with a screw driver? So after the meeting, i confront her and say, "hey, its the end of the season, motors are wore out and using some oil could i check my oil at the break to be safe? Im not risking blowing my engine on the last night." She says, "yeah, if you come in the pits and go to the tail." WE CANT EVEN CHECK THE OIL?!! ITS THE END OF THE SEASON! MOTORS ARE WORE, THINK ABOUT IT!

Your an idiot. I've watched you race many times before. You won't even make it to the halfway point, so don't worry about your oil. If its that big of a deal then stay home! And as far as CNB goes, go back to dirt, then you will have a crowed. You screwed yourself. You had one of the best dirt tracks around.

CHILLI 100 STARTED OVER AN HR LATE CLUSTERFK AT ITS BEST ANYONE WANT MY RAIN CHECK SAD THAT AFTER HAVEING DOE THIS RACE 8 YRS THAT THEY CANT B ORGANIZED FROM CONSESION HELP TO TICKET TAKER TO TRACK PREP EVEN ANNOUN CER MAKING JOKES OF WE MIGHT BE HERE TILL SUNDAY N LAUGHIN WHEN HE SAID WE JUST BLEW PAST THE 2PM START TIME SO SORRYNO MORE CHILLI CLUSTERFK FOR ME

So would you rather have me sit up there and say "OMG WERE GOING TO BE LATE. GOD HELP US SAVE FACE!!!!" People are going to complain no matter what goes on. It could have started 15 minutes early and someone wouldn't have liked it, jumped on Racestud and had something derogatory to say.

EXAMPLE: Last year I was asked to go through the line and introduce drivers and ask a question or two. It was VERY early in the evening and someone started yelling and crying till Janney had me stop. We are talking 15 minutes of time at an event that is running ahead of schedule. Janney does this for the drivers and gives ALL of the money to charity!!!

Did you know that before this event she collects money from the couple of sponsors that she has and then goes to the bank for the rest??? Then after the race she pays back the bank note and gives the rest away (that means she doesn't keep any of it). On top of this; she was sick for about six weeks leading up to it this year. A little unorganized? Hell yes but she's still out there doing whatever she can to put on this show. Take into account also that you can probably count on one hand the number of people that have been there for every event. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to put something like this together for once a year, on your own??? I have offered to assist her with it but she takes a great deal of pride in doing all of this herself.

Now, if you choose not to attend; that is your prerogative but we hope that we see you some time again.

Once again there wasnt enuff of the show completed to continue on with, having a complete new show is the right thing to do. Hammer down.

Our feature was set and should be kept that way! If it was a regular night of racing I could see but not when its a higher paying special.

Yeah, the asphalt track, home of the HUGE car counts. If they pulled the plug on it, I'd be on my way to the pittsburgher! Everyone wants CNB back to dirt, go to ppms. It's the same damn track! If some of you would leave the county once in your life you'd know that. Lol

Wow, virtually every track in the region starts the program over if it rains out before ALL heats are completed. Noboby wants to come back to watch an incomplete program.

As I see it. Drivers tore up cars in the street stock heats, drivers burned fuel, and drivers added laps to engines, tires, etc. On a weekly event, I could understand it, but for a special, and since 100% of the street stock heats had been finished and line ups created, Id let them run the feature as intended, but that's just me. Its no ones fault that the rain came, etc. But from a business standpoint, the primary people who lost money last week were the drivers who spent money to run races that they have to run over. Put it to vote.

Have any new cars run a heat, then tag the rear of the field in that order.

how many of you have promoted a race, any race. it takes a lot of hard work, and months to prepair for it. i have done one race a year for the last nine years, the stephanie eckl memorial race. it takes me 3 to 4 months to prepair for this race . many miles driving making contact with over 60 different businesses in my case. but over the years it has payed off. it dosent come easy you have to work for it. i really dont know what janney goes through promoting the chili 100 but i have a firm grasp what she goes through to make this race possable for you the fans and the drivers and crews. give her some respect for doing this for all her hard work, yes there have been some problems over the years but every promoter goes through the same thing. we all want great weather each week when we go to a race track and perfect track conditions unfortuneatly that dosent happen. as for the move to this week after the rain last week she has this week to run the race and cnb has moved thiers to next week. its a win win for both tracks. some like dirt some like asphalt what ever your choice support the track drivers and crewswhere ever you go. i know where i will be tomorrow afternoon at amp enjoying some racing and seeing my racing friends and watching some good racing. i`ll be roaming the pits and sitting on the pit bleachers watching the action. what ever race you go to the chili 100 or the keystone open or both have a good time. grt0404 greg eckl
