Wrong answer, Tony Stewart racing is buying the property and he is purchasing PPMS along with ebensberg speedway, he is going to have a 3 track racing series. This is going to be a great thing for western PA. racing. This is legit, the source is good I heard all this from my monkeys uncle. Reason being this is coming up at the end of the week ,we were celebrating MLK day all week"After several delays and complicated legal transactions, I am pleased to announce that we will host a press conference on Friday, January 24, 2014 regarding the acquisition of Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, PA.
Today 1/24/2014, the sheriff's office confirmed the sale is still on for Feb. 19th. That would mean there is no deal to buy Tri-City in place.

I don't know Mr. Thomas, but I applaud him for trying to revive the place and give us another track to race at. I surely am not going to bad talk someone for this. He must be pretty confident, why else would he do everything that he has done so far. I hope it works out and will support the place for sure.
If there was a "like" button, I would hit it for your post...

I'd love to see Tri-City reopen too, but not like this. Tri-City needs a Jeremy Corcoran (Canandiagua) or Jeff Taylor (AMP), a guy with some actual money and a love for the sport, not a KC Spurlock (look him up).
