Someone early on in this thread mentioned the Sharif sale. I went to the suggested site and found the sale. It gave a parcel number involved with the sale. I then went to the county land map to look at the parcel.

It appears to me the parcel being sold for 1/4 million is land locked except for a mapped road which would run to the pit entrance. The parcel I looked at via online map includes most of the track with the exception of turn 4. The parcel I saw does not include turn 4, but it does include the main grand stands.

From what I saw unless you have the ability to force the use of the mapped access road, which appears by satellite to be forested in, the land locked parcel is mostly worthless. It's the end of the year and tax time is nearing, could this all be for reason of creating a tax loss and have nothing at all to do with the track opening or not?

It would not effect the track opening or not if business agreements are ok, it may mean the sale, transfer or potential loss is for other reasons.

Tax time was over 6 days ago

Lol that was the obvious answer to this stupid shit but I went off on the other aspect because it aggravates the hell out of me. If a business needs deductions towards the end of the year they buy , tools , equipment , Machinery etc etc .... Property is the only thing they can't buy and deduct !!!

So in your fantasy world your able to buy property in pre tax dollars huh ?? I would be a fuking land Barron if that were true. Commercial property is depreciated over 40 years !!!! Aka if you pay 100k your 100k is after tax dollars and you get to deduct 2500 a year .... Deducting that just means you don't pay tax on that 2500 !!! That's it , it doesn't remove 2500 from what you owe .... Just the tax on that 2500.... Why do you think so many business rent ??? Rent is 100% deductible immediately. Think about it if a guy made a million pretax why not just buy land for 950k and pay tax on 50 k ???? Because you can't you fuking retard !!!

Sorry, I'm not at liberty to release that information but as soon as it is certain, there will be a press release.

I can't wait to tell you what's in store for racers and fans---particularly FASTRAK teams. :)

Stopped in to talk to my buddy last night, that works at a local Auto Dealer. Claims his boss was hit up for big money form a guy trying to buy the track.

I'd like to see challenger open back up someday. probably will never happen but I've heard great stories from there and would have loved to see some racing there.

The Lentz family still owns it the last I heard. They had interested parties, but never let discussions get very far as they weren't interested in someone else running the track.
