I'm glad I'm not the only one that caught it as rude and distasteful. Of course these same guys have bashed the town and the residents of ebensburg to high heaven since they were denied a lease, so obviously class and professionalism isn't going to a part of their program.

Probably the most classless way to announce this. Dave is fighting his own battle with cancer. You definitely won't get my support and with the payout for supers it's pitiful. Only $75 to start and $800 to win with under 20 cars is sad considering they only averaged 16-18 per night in 2012. Your not giving any incentive for guys to come cause it's not worth the drive. Should have just let it closed.

A simple " Dog Hollow Speedway will be racing in 2014, more updates to follow" would have been fine. But by referring to unfortunate closures of some tracks as a boxing match and ripping into Hesston after EVERYTHING the dirt doctor has done for this area of racing... you are have shown you are a classless tool... I'm not sure who is running the Penn/Ohio SS tour, but if it were myself or any touring series promoter for that matter I wouldn't want my series to be associated with that track...

Ryan Claycomb asked me to post this. Most of you who know us, understand we are very open to listening to what the fans and drivers want and we are open to your criticisms. We are doing the best we can, but it is completely impossible to make everyone happy. In our statement for opening the track I understand we could have offended some people and Michael Berezansky brought that to my attention at which time I edited those statements out. I want it to be known we had no intentions on offending anyone with that statement and I have utmost respect for David Eriksen as well as he has been in our prayers for years. We meant no harm and we apologize if we offended anyone in our overzealousness.
