Sounds like a good place for a flea market???

Or a mattress testing facility. That place really attracts the dreamers.

All very true posts, the last time that place was promoted in an efficient manner is when the guys from DuBois owned it and Lynn Felix was the promoter...she did a good job, everyone knew about the place, there were lots of cars and quite a few people...but even then I'm not sure that the place ran in the black, I'm pretty sure it did but not 100% sure...people need to take lessons from Vicki Emigh, she was a good promoter...but then again it all comes back down to money, it costs money to promote.

She's a "good promoter" in that she makes money. Don't confuse that with any empathy or compassion you think she has for drivers and fans, becaue it is non existant. I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her.

From what I have seen, us asphalt fans are not the ones that keep trying to build things into something that they're not.  I think we've all been fairly realistic in our thoughts.

True about Vicki...now Piney Laskey had feelings for the fans and drivers, plus he had the ability to make money...I also agree with T440...I feel that the only way CNB would make it as an asphalt track is to do "other things" to bring in money, some of these "things" may not involve motorsports.
