Honestly it's the disengenous promoters that cause it to be 1 brand..... The advertise to draw cars in with their " point fund " acting like its money out of their pocket when it reality it's money from the tire company .....
Money from the tire company, the cost of which ultimately gets absorbed by the race teams via inflated prices for their product. The tracks like the tire deals because they get that money up front and it is guaranteed.
