Jon, any touring race I've ever been to paid back in tow money whatever you paid as an entry fee. On top of that to start money was two to three times whatever your entry fee was. Just saying.... And you don't have to be a member to race at a Rush tour race. Not sure about Fastrak. You didn't used to have to I don't think. And for the little bit of money you spend to join Rush it's worth it just to have the extra medical insurance. Again just sayin...... People always think they're getting ripped off or shafted somehow.

So it looks like tracks under CARS can pull cars that have any tires. Racers that have Hoosier can still race for the purse money at CARS tracks without buying new tires. But for RUSH or FASTRAK, the AR teams would have to by at least 4 new tires ($600) to race at one of their events or tracks.
It seems that that CARS tracks will probably get more cars.

Are you sure that you can run FASTRAK or RUSH tires at Dog Hollow?

Dog Hollow posted on their front page about a Crate LM race in April 2015. It says CARS, RUSH & FT tires are allowed.

You can look at it the other way too.....
If one wants to run for the CARS money that also runs Fastrak and Rush they too will have to shell out at least $600 for 4 new tires. May as well make that $900 because they'll need a couple spares.

Only if they want to run for the point money do they have to buy the AR tires. They can still race for the PURSE money on their Hoosiers.

Never been to Dog Hollow but I highly doubt the surface calls for a D21/1350. The AR 44 will kick it's ass. So to be competitive you have to buy the 44's. Nobody wins here other than the tire companies. I'm not pro either tire but what crate racing needs is one or two strong sanctions that have the power to keep people honest. Now the way it is you get caught cheating in one you just go run another. It's becoming a convoluted mess and it's all because of someone trying to make a buck off our backs. For all the crying on here about costs I don't see how having three more compounds to worry about helps anyone who plans on running multiple tracks in your area.

Did you read my original post????!!!
Racers that have Hoosier can still race for the PURSE money at cars tracks without buying new tires. PURSE money. Not point money! AR cars cannot even compete at a RUSH or FASTRAK event without buying new tires PERIOD!

Dog Hollow is allowing Rush, Fastrak and AR tires at the April race, but what about the rest of the races?

Wildside-did you have to run 44 or harder at Raceway 7 last year?

Be commended for allowing the rush and fastrack tires to run EVEN though they are putting up big money for a point fund . The only potential " sponsors " who have anything to gain sponsoring a race car are company's selling race car parts or tires . Any company sponsoring a race car at this level is giving a donation not entering " a partnership " like I see thrown out there all the time . At least if a pizza place or bar sponsors the local pee wee football team the team and parents might stop in for food or booze lol .
