Ok. Dumping left side weight. Then moving it back to the right. HELLO, balance, and that comes from shocks, springs, and many other factors. Eldora is a track like no other. Why ?. The speed that you carry into the corner. That alone makes eldora a very difficult track to adjust for. Air over the car is a factor out there. To keep balance because of the speed entering the corners, your left side weights better be pretty stiff. Remember, balance. O, and let's not forget those pesky tires and wheel off set's. Speed + drifting = eldora concrete. Ouch.

At Jo 73 .... Do you think that this is Buck Johnson's first rodeo ? Lol . That is the funniest thing I've ever read on here . Tim Shaffer and Bucky Johnson WILL WIN RACES . They have forgot more about Racecars than most of you will ever know , combined .

I didn't worry about it sounding retarded, because it is correct.

It's way, way more complex than just moving weight around, and you don't seem to realize that late models are extremely left side heavy from the jump.

Are we talking about crown jewel races or weekly shows ?? There's another sprint car guy I think his name is schatz or something like that that runs his own latemodel quite a bit .... I
Mean I know he's no where even close to half as good as Shaffer in a sprint car but he hasn't won much ...

Lololol.

On the real, though, Donny has been pretty impressive in his late model. It he ever dedicates himself to late models instead of sprints, he's going to be very competitive night in and night out with the quickness.

Even then there is a massive difference between qualifying good when there's some
Moisture and doing what Bloomquist does. Qualifying and heat races are NOT 100 lap A Mains

Talking about the 4 wheel drift. Lanigan set the late model up. Yes I'm sure he is not priority.

Soo there's just a magic set up ?? Doesn't matter who's driving and the radical transitions eldora goes through during the night don't matter either ?!? According to you then Clanton went almost a second faster than Bloomquist qualifying so that means he should have lapped Bloomquist 1.5 times in the feature ???? Magic fukin set up !!! Don't touch it just drive !!!!

What I'm telling you is that Lanigan and Owens who are both superstar late model drivers almost guaranteed have significant differences in how their cars are set up. Lanigan has 10+ other cars there , he is not going to be focused on being the crew chief for Tim and it's going to take more than a few nights to figure out what Tim needs vs what Lanigan needs. You always get your stupid comments in that I don't run as well as you think I should ... And you say it in a way that implies the stuff you work on is flying ... What am I missing ? Who are these dominate cars your wrenching on ?

You should know paul. If you listen to him he knows everything about setting up a car. Just ask him sometime. He talks so much crap on everyone yet the cars he works on are usually in the back of the pack. And if they are in a wreck it's always the other guys fault.
