Where do you begin. First off the schedule plastered all over racestud, facebook, ect was not even followed with the times. The scoreboard doesn't even work. The lights never came on so they decide to have a portable one that blinds everyone driving. The 2 pieces of ply wood get smashed on the wall and decide to cancel the rest of the night after making us all wait out to race the non qualifier race. The big blocks were also pissed after only racing heats. Like others said this place is on its last leg.

It wasn't the 45 minute autograph session that made the program so long, it was a ton of cautions all night and a great turnout of Sportsman cars.

wow, sounds like a fuster cluck on the track's part. What happened for them to cancel the program left to run? Look's like ppms, and mercer can do something good together as they know how to piss people off.

I feel bad the show went so late and honestly the effort to push the show along took away track prep time that could have made the track racier and probably less cautions. But you live and learn. Didn't think we'd have 51 cars and need all that time for 4 hot laps sessions, 10 qualifying sessions, 6 heats and 2 B mains. But that is a good thing right?
Next year will definitely will have less going on to make the night less rushed and get everything in on time. But you did get to see a TON of racing for your $15 last night. Hope everyone had fun and will support the race next year.

Vince, that was a Hell"va Sportsmans show. Every one who came with me some for the first time really enjoyed it. They want to come back next year. We all agreed we got more than our monies worth. As for the lights and other problems with the track what we say falls on dead ears. Again you made your Dad Proud.

Kudos to you Vince on another great race. Otherwise what a cluster of a night. As original poster mentioned, the show dragged on and on. After every caution they would parade around 5 mins single file before they got lined up. I thought they used electronic scoring so lining them up shouldn't be so difficult. Not the best decision by Ben to put the portable lights where he did and pointing them directly off of turn 4 right into the drivers face as they came off turn 4. Soon as the 6 car flipped, I had a feeling they were going to call it a night. If you want to call it a night due to the lateness fine, but don't say the damage to the wall as a reason. They have ran before with whole sections of the upper wall missing. Also they need to look at doing whatever they can to bring Dow back. The announcer they have now, either it is his first announcing gig or he just doesn't do what he needs to do. All night long, he never ONCE ran down the list of contributors for the Laboon race. Dow would go over the list multiple times in one evening. Another gaffe he made is he said there were 10 rush mods, but if he was paying attention during hotlaps he would have seen there were more. Announcing is a hard job but come on, take a little time and effort to make sure you do it right. Give the lineup, say a few of the drivers sponsors. Again things Dow would do multiple times in one night.

Vince Great show you put on. One thing, How come the sponsor list never got read once from the ppms announcer? that announcer has to go, he is just horrible all night long from not knowing who is in what car, to the number of heats, to not even reading sponsors on cars when their on the track, ect!

was gonna say the same thing they ran almost half a season with the plywood missing in between turn 1 and 2. What the Mileys said to the rush mod drivers is typical Mileys fashion.Congrats to Vince on doing a hell of a job on this race your dad would be dam proud!Kudos to you Vince on another great race.
