Does the track have any clay on it or is it just rocks and dirt?..........................If there is clay is it 2 inches or 2 feet deep?......

Rocks galore, no clay. Been that way for years, dirt from the hill side aka ppms clay.

My take on the choke, now, from what I have learned went down.
Dude was pissed their car was wrecked, again and threatening track officials, didn't do a thing but run his mouth..... And then got snatched up by the old man and did nothing (only smart thing he did!)
Hats off to Smokey for keeping order......dude is a pussy!

I've never seen the place but lets review what I've read all summer on here:
piss poor road leading to grandstand parking
add boards missing
no paint
grand stand seating in disrepair/closed to the fans
lights half out
weeds everywhere
absolutely no clay/dust cloud to the level of a serious safety issue
watered up slop hole on the inside groove
drivers out of control
50 cars or less in the pits
AND last but not least...........owners that don't give a care!!!!!
Can I buy this track?..............quarter mil in repairs and a top notch PR guy and it could be the premier sat. night track in western PA

Didn't Brian swartzlander hit that pole a few years ago in a brp race. Pretty sure his car looked the same wayJon- the telephone pole on the inside between turns 1 and 2, not the big white tire post at the end of the straightaway. I have no clue how he did that much damage on the inside of the track mid turn.

It's really a shame though because the only thing that has improved there over the years is the track prep and the racing. It went from an ice rink that was only a couple cars wide to a track that was actually too easy to pass on. Now it seems even that has gone to hell.
Everyone has gotten so lazy there its a shame that even the track prep of dumping a load of water on it and calling it a day is the norm it appears. Guess track prep is getting cut back to save $$

It's going to take a lot more than a quarter million to bring that track up to anything close to the premier Saturday night track in western PA. At the very least, ir desperately needs new lighting. That's before we even get into the horrifically bad bleachers.
