If Matt screwed up like he said he did, he should man up and pay the purse that he advertised! How this guy sleeps at night is beyond me. He has no concept of loyalty or business sense. He is blinded to the fact that mistakes like this are driving racers and fans away from ppms. I tried to have a discussion with him one night at the bar, but he got agitated and defensive quickly whenever I brought up any of his wrongdoings. It is obvious to me he doesn't care what us fans or racers think.

Man...you crate racers got hosed big time by this Matt guy I would be taking that email and the original printed payout and go head hunting...to this day I still can't believe a driver should pay to get into the pits to race his car for the track to profit from said driver paying to race...entry fees to higher paying races I understand but ur weekly shows I dont get

Those are the actions of a person with no integrity! This is why NOBODY trusts the Miley's anymore or should take Matt at his word, because it means nothing now. I told Matt one night at the North Star that he was running ppms into ground and that he was going to ruin the place, he told me oh well I will go racing with Jared. That is how much this guy cares about his name or his track. I personally never knew red, but he must be the only Miley with business sense and integrity.

Get all the regulars together, and demand DEADBEAT MILEY FAMILY pay up before entering pits Sunday or none of you will show up Sunday, period, no discussion.

You do realize that you guys have the power here as the only class that will have a full field the rest of the year will be the crates? You will get maybe 10 stocks, 5 young guns and 5 amateurs. If there were 0 crate cars there for 15 bucks you would be getting nothing. Anyone who shows up tonight will just be telling them you can screw us over as much as you want and I will continue to support you.

You make a valid point, Jon. Since you are a business owner let me ask you. If you were building me a deck and quoted me a price that was 100 dollars less then the cost of the job, would you call me and tell me you made a mistake and it was 100 more or would you figure since it was your mistake you would just eat the 100?

@ chrome horn ...... I agree 1000% . That is why I am not going , that Is NOT OK WITH ME . @ Legend , that would be fine , if they woulda mentioned it .... It's THAT small detail that made it SOO wrong . They advertised a certain purse and then sneak a entry fee AFTER THE RACE ...

Chrome if I gave a quote over the phone and when typing up the contract I see something was missed I would add it and explain to the customer ,but that's before I send the formal proposal and a contract is signed .... If I find the error after the contract is signed then I eat it. Deducting an entry fee after the race would be like me asking for extra money after the job is done ....

Justin sorta has to go there ..... You see tonite is the Kids Bike Races & he has 2 little Reasons that have been waiting for weeks to race tonite .. So his hands are tied . But for the Record , he has more integrity than anyone that I know , so his word/promise to his kids FAR ,FAR outweigh a Lil beef about a 100 dollar bill .

Before the dirt flies... settles, and the sun goes up and down a few times.

This was not a touring race, there shouldn't of been any  'fee'.

 

I got my fill @ Lernerville, and with no supers tonight, I'll be elsewhere.

 

It will be interesting to see if the fat man makes it right or ruins all that was good about last weekend.

 

It's pretty evident this isn't going away!

I understand that Justins kids want to race their bikes. The issue here which really is an issue in any form of life is when people try to make a stand and stick together you always have people who cross the picket lines so to speak. I applaud anyone who stands up for what they believe is right and wrong in anything they do. So if you are keeping your car parked, Chuck, then I salute you.
