Run Fridays:
Sportsman open engine Penn Ohio rules
305 sprints
Rush Late Models
E - mods Or Rush Mods
4 classes good Friday night show.
Too many Saturday shows and Sunday is a day of rest, really Sunday night is hard to handle.

Tri-City purports to be specials only, next year...

I dont think Tri-City could support themselves off that program you proposed. No true headlining divisions. And most are, what I read, the classes that tri-city had there this past sunday. And if everything i read was true, it was a LOOOOOOONG crash fest. No way would it draw fans over the BB mods, 410 Sprints, and Super Lates being only an hour or so from Lernerville anyway

the main reason it took so long, is that they still haven't fixed the transponder loop...

It's hard to just walk away after doing something you enjoyed for over 20 years.

Regardless, this is the best track to race at in the area. Some drivers may go to other tracks, but they are going to find out the grass isn't as green.

They are getting rid of a good groop of racers. name a track that has 6 track champs + all the feature winners in one class.

Me personally, and yes I have, call Tomson directly. Voice your displeasure, this family has had a profitable business for many years. I am dam sure in most instances if your making profit then you don't make drastic changes such as what is proposed. Tweaking yes. But the GM wants to totally disrupt the division as it stands today.
Racers, friends, family call Tomson scrap metal direct. Voice your displeasure. Your voice is stronger than 1 GM and Missy E. Things happen in numbers. There response to me was. WE APPRECIATED YOUR CALL. I was 1, you need that to be hundreds. Nobody wants to absorb a loss like that.

Lernerville has been a Friday night staple since the beginning. What lernerville has over most other tracks is that they have run the same divisions with very little rules changes for most of that time span. I don't care what any one says ! This division is self supported and more. I have been in business for 25 + years. All anyone has asked is a explanation of why the hell this is happening ? Yet no one cares to step up and give that to the racers who have supported the track for so long.

You can Conform and take the monster energy number on your forehead ( sell all your good stuff you finally got in your hands) or you can decide to drive 1.5 hrs .
From Pittsburgh Airport to tricity takes 20 gallons round trip but didn't seem that long until the way home and nothing to talk about .
Lernerville is up there and on the same line as several tracks on 80 ..
Crates is not the problem for me .. Its the fact you have to buy the motors from a single vender..
Open it up to all makes that have factories in America
American Manufactured " Stock Replacement Motors " then it will be REALLY CHEAP!

The backlash isn't from the "Crate "
the " Spec" was the first " Crate"
The " Crate " is the insult because it represents one crappy company being shoved down peoples throat !
Aftermarket ( gm machining sold off and left for dead for PROFFIT) puts the " Performance" in the hands of the user !
So no matter how you cut the cheese .. the " Crate" stinks as a Mandate when its obvious a crate is competitive as an option under given rules ( in effect now!)
