looks like the young mr finger will be the 2017 provisional of the year..so far tonight at boyds, next to last in time for hot laps, last in heat... so will he be rewarded again with a spot in the feature with another "emergency provisional" like in 80% of last years races???

If Morgan Shepard is still getting in Nextell races ... then mr provisional will get in the Lucas races too ... Unless you show up and take his spot !
There is something strange about how much envy some people have for others !
I was looking on Racejunk several years ago for an old nascar chasis and put my Impala 305 motor in it and show up at the nascar races about 8 or 10 years ago when they couldn't get 43 cars .... But people like Andy petri and some others beat me to it !
Now that cheap ass France grandson only pays 40 spots ! I Hate that guy !!!!!

At least he's out trying to make the races at the highest form of dirt late model racing with the best in the business. You can bash him all you want on a computer. He is living out his dreams, so go live out yours.I don't think they give two sh!t$
about your opinion. If it's so easy to make lucas races build a car and do it.

few can do what he is trying... but in gods name how he thinks after a few good seasons at ppms he is ready to play with the big boys.. id re evaluate my intentions if in the previous season id used a provisional to make 80% of my features...oh yea...and a bigger joke being named rookie of the year ....MR PROVISIONAL will no doubt use another provisional tonight... ill use my $100 towards searching for my old 3rd design howe car...then try for 2018 rookie of the year...lol

I think Russell was a lot more competitive than Flinner appears to be!! And no driver can be responsible for what other drivers are running for the Rookie of the Year award. The World of Outlaws, All Stars and NASCAR Cup all have good Rookie races this year, but such is not always the case. But that is not the fault of any rookie trying to win the award!!
GOOD RACING!!

Russ never won a woo race, but he DID MAKE THE SHOWS and not reply on provisionals at every event over 24 cars. He was semi competitive.

I have no idea what there intentions are ? Do they learn from race to race ? hopefully so. I do applaud them for being out there trying. $$$ wise there team is lacking support. Motor wise, there not even in the same field of play. Watching him at Golden Isles the kid was fighting a uphill battle from time trails on/ He raced well. But as in any time trail deal. If you don't time well, your struggling the rest of the night to get a good starting spot in the B. Maybe there trying to pick up some financial support running with Lucas, no idea.

In the kids defense and on the up side of it all is that he destroyed a few cars and looked like a Pinball when he first started and then looked real good when left running Pittsburgh ... so maybe a couple more cars and he may just keep getting better ..! But like someone said .. he's living a dream anybody on here would love to do lol!

but he finished next to last (of cars running) at the checkered flag, so no real change from a normal night ,just no provisional being used

Last night: Boom 15th, Satterlee 16th, Flinner 17th!! All started in the back and ALL stayed there!! Basically, Boom and Satterlee didn't do much better than Flinner with a whole lot more driving experience and more time on the road as well. Not a good night for "our" guys in Alabama!! And Chub did no better with a 14th with the WoO at Farmer City, Ill.
GOOD RACING!!!
