I wish I was on the road following a big series even on a shoe string and taking provisional to make some shows. I'd be doing what I love doing..should have done it when I was young. The alterative is sitting in my office reading a string by a few people who got to be out of their mind for criticizing him. I only know of Colton from a little crate racing, did not seem like a bad dude, I'm sure they are working hard and wanting to improve.

I look at every result to see how he did, hoping he had a good showing.

Someone previously asked how many provisional outlaws get. Sprints is a maximum of 4 for the year. not sure on the late models but likely close I would think.

if you follow his lucas oil career, you should see how he does... semi competitive at best... primarily relying on provisional starts to make a feature... id too like to see him succeed... but frankly he isn't, if I had his track record on the series. id bag touring and concentrate on mastering local tracks , then move on... but ive heard he has uncle johns attitude also..maybe im picking on him??? maybe he is a speedbump on the lucas tour ??? fact is if it wernt for provisional .. he wont make 80% of the races.  let the FACTS TALK.

Mod Pro, if ya ever want to hang out in my pits we always have something to do, more than one person came to visit and never left. I haven't driven one of my cars in 10+ years but love going to the track.

Could this be a sign he got a bigger motor, or did the blind squirrel find a nut last night? Time shall tell.

If I remember correctly at the pittsburger he qualified 6 tenths slower than the crates and that was at his home track.

Questions.
1. Does he have 2 brand new XR-1's Not sure, but I doubt it
2. Is he bolting on new tires every time the car moves No
3. Does he change RF and LR spring/shock combo's minutes before climbing in No
4. Does his motor builder really think he builds something that can compete No
5. Budget, lol that's funny

Boom Briggs,

1. Yes, longhorns I believe
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. Results, the same, hummm let me think. Budget, no idea.

my beef ? if you call it a beef... the guy used provisional to make races prob 80% of the time in 2016, and garnered the ROOKIE OF THE year honors... now using provisional (4 so far ) this year , cant make a race legitly... hasn't qualified for one yet this year , but run em all cause he attends em all , barely competitive ,

to me using provisional start is if you had a bad night/flat etc... not to race all year from using provisional starts when there are way faster competitive cars parked while hes out running last weekly,

personally I don't hate the guy or anything, would rather see him represent our local racers well , but seeing his track record ya gotta wonder if he has it in him
