Hot dog honestly your opinion really doesnt hold any credibility at this point. Re-read this whole thread. First you said they were sprint guys who dont know the first thing about stocks or the series. Then you said those drivers were nothing but a support division and lucky to be on the card to pad the back gate. Then these promoters suddenly understand who each series driver is and slides messages in the DM trying to poach drivers from a well established series who has had this race on their schedule since the winter. You will obviously make any excuse you can for this group so there is no changing your mind at this point. After this cash grab is over the Penn Ohio series and Shaun Hooks will continue to unify stock racing in the area and have their best interest in the drivers while Mercer will be counting their money until the next tractor pull and watching the grass grow on turn 2 again. Enjoy the weeekend.

Oh man, I have no credibility with Vince Laboon?! How ever will I go on? Enjoy being offended by a non issue.

Thunder mtn. scheduling a sprint car race on the same night ? You talk about a promotor being a arsh ! Come on. Get off the stock car deal, the Facebook post gave the stock car guys options. Vince, everyone knows, and I at least, understand the work involved. Yes, mercer has always been a thorn in your arsh, and yes you have legitimate reasons to be upset.

So, back to thunder mtn. Where the hell did this come from ???

The mercer deal is a group of people that don't want to see the place die. Nothing more. The price tag put on the place will never bring a buyer in. Altam is not a guy that gives a crap in my opinion. My only hope is that he doesn't sabotage what these guys are attempting to do. Again, this Thunder mtn deal smells.

Hot Dog spews crap on here all the time to suit whatever agenda he wants. *cough cough snowflake* I don't see a problem with choice, afterall that's what this country was founded on. I don't agree with sending drivers DM's. Promote your race just like every other race and if someone wants to show up they will. I doubt the Mercer race will make a difference to the Penn-Ohio series. Those guys seem quite loyal. Just like Pittsburgh, they can schedule the Red Miley Rumble when every other track in the country is off for the night or when every other track is running, it makes no difference. Guys race where they want to race and with who they want to race. It is the driver/crews choice where to race, but a promoter should NOT be messaging drivers about a race. In the age of social meadia, I'm sure they are all aware.

Yeah Im the one agenda pushing and not the guy with boo boo face over someone he doesnt like winning a popularity contest. Or the guy with dirty diapers over a track having the gall to run against a series 2 hours away. But Im the snowflake lol

See, this is what i'm talking about. I do not in the slightest of ways care if you're liberal or conservative, libtard or conservatard, snowflake or a velcro shoe. Stop bringing everything and every conversation back to YOUR political agendas. GTFO here with this left wing right wing garbage. F both wings and their agendas. That's not what this board is about but i digress... it's 2018 and nobody knows how to have a f'n discussion, speak like adults, or god forbid someone disagree. Because then we must resort to grade school drama and names. This is America, why think and speak for yourself when you can have your party do it for you and follow it like an idiot spouting the same useless party rhetoric... what does the El Presidente say, #GetSmartAmerica... don't make me laugh....

back to the actual point of this damn topic. I do bot agree with TM scheduling the sprint show on the same day as eriez as that is a dick move. Scheduling stocks on the same day as penn ohio is less of a dick move but still not the friendliest of things to do. Sending private messages to drivers for said race "letting them know there's an alternative option " is beyond desperate and aggressive regardless of the wording and that ladies and gentleman is a DICK move. You're running one race... asking for cars is like a chick trying to hook up with every dude at the 10 year reunion

26 stock cars must have felt it wasnt over the line. Oh and the 48 sprints and 49 mod lites must think the promotion team is ok as well

What does that have to do with any one individuals opinion. Do you think simply because they had exceptional car counts that will make people side with you on the matter? It's an ethics based topic so numbers are irrelevant here. You think it's fine, we've heard it since the 4th post of this topic but god forbid not everybody on here know just how you feel about the topic. Maybe you and the truth and vince should argue some more about it! Go ahead and tell us 15 more times where you stand, all of you.

Again, I am glad they got cars, good for them, and i respect and appreciate your admiration of Mercer and the people putting this weekend on. They have a lot riding on this. The owner got his money, now they need the event to go well to get theirs back. They did what worked for them and what they were comfortable, that's fine. I don't have to like it or agree with it. Car counts still doesn't change MY OPINION on the matter because it's a moral/ethical standpoint . I've posted on this post multiple times too but the last 10 posts in this are pointless and stupid because it's retreaded nonsense.

I dont care if anyone agrees with me or not. And also to call me political is hilarious, Im as apolitical as they come.

Another thing to look at, if Penn Ohio is out for the greater good of stock cars, how is 48 cars getting paid worse than 24?

I wasn't calling you political, you weren't the one saying snowflake.... and you're no davey lee spouting rubbish about El Presidente and Fox news once a week. I have no qualms with you sir. I disagree with you on this topic and that's fine because we're allowed to be on opposit sides of the road but the increasing need for others to get political about everything drives me absolutely nuts.

Glad, really glad to hear they had a good turnout in all divisions. Again I will say it. It's just a shame that the asking price for the track and grounds is so far over priced. There are racers and fans I believe would come back to support mercer. It is no secret the place was mismanaged to the point where it drove both racers and fans away.
