Vince co-existence would be good if that happens. But what I see from Rush is they want everything their way. But again it is early so lets just wait and see or email Miley and tell them how you feel and what you want. Just my personal OP.

It started with the late models, then into modifieds, then sprint cars, and know (whatever you care to call them) pro stocks, sportsman.
In the years that the plan has been put into place 1 organization has destroyed racing in western pa. The track owners are as much to blame. PPMS hangs on by shoestrings, the track is a monster 1/2 mile. It's also a motor killer. It's also a dinosaur in my opinion.
Why every division ??? Greed ? In with Sweeney ? Are most of the rush motors coming over there parts counter. Are the selected rebuild shops paying a premium to be on that list ?
All of you defenders out there, remember the people coming thru the gates keep tracks alive. I have attended rush shows, never will there divisions be a stand alone show. Unless of course there's a takeover.
Then the last of the true die hard fans will be gone. I give fastrack credit for not being as greedy as there competition. They are focused on 1 division.
To be a guy that has a top 3 division car in his shop. Give it up, the takeover is going to make you lose your ass.

It seems that as the penn Ohio series was growing along came rush and wanted to be a player in the game. I do have a problem with the take over of every division in western pa.

Better check again, from what I've seen on Facebook, Fastrak is heading the same route and picking up other divisions as well.

I don't understand why so many people think the size of the track makes it an engine killer. The size of the track has no bearing on how hard it is on an engine, in fact, high sustained rpm is easier on a motor than constantly changing rpm. The kind of tracks that are hard on motors are the ones where there is a ton of grip, ruts, or cause large variations in engine rpm. PPMS has, without a doubt, the most consistent and smooth racing surface around, which is something you appreciate when you race at other tracks in the area.

Look at DirtCar / UMP. They have sanctions in 12 divisions, of which 5 are crate. RUSH is not doing anything new. Someone needed to step up and get local racing under control. Vicki and Mike stepped up to the plate and took a huge chance. Thankfully that chance is working out for the drivers and fans alike.

Crate and Open
There is a place between a 6000 crate and a 15000 hammer that has been part of racing since the beginning of time !
A person who can put together a long block 350 from Clearfield that ran on the asphalt in an old late model with aheads and intake and carborator from a 602 crate and pull close to 500 hp for less than 4000!
That racer is not welcome any more RIP

I do not have a problem with crate motors, a friend of mine races a Rush dirt late model and does very well with it! My biggest problem is when Rush came in and placed the crates only in the pro stocks, and anyone who did not go crate where not permitted to race. That is a problem rather you see it or not. Just come up with some rules so crates and opens can race together. Someone said Lernerville had a good car count, 18 cars is ok but a 23 and up car is better. Just my personal take. As far as PPMS at least they are asking the racers what THEY want.

on FB they say they are "strongly considering to go to RUSH rules for the 2019 season for prostocks". Needless to say, the comments rip them apart lol
