so is it your brothers fault..our teams fault..or whoever else that didn't complain, just tried to keep up by whatever means possible?..that now we..the people who have supported that shithole should have to face a penalty or even sell off our hard earned equipment for less than half what we have in it to give "the other guys" who dream of moving up,or the guys who race Lernerville a chance?
the issue is the management who let it go on,let it get out of hand and now are paying the penalty by less teams, cars and fans..they sure got fat and happy off their decisions, its us that are skipping meals to try to compete.
the whole deal makes me sick to my stomach...lol..geez!
Again i ask what was wrong with a cubic inch limit? Why do you need a 421 or a 430 in a (street stock , pro stock. sportsman, E-mod for that matter ) Racers are their worst enemies " give us big tires , give us big engines " Then "this is super expensive" That's why there is a late model division. It's the same as gokart racing. The expense is about buying your little Johnny, Suzie or yourself a trophy. It's about if you can't compete at the top level you piss and moan or move to a place where you feel your more likely to buy your little Johnny, Suzie or yourself a trophy. That's why racing is polluted with so many classes. That's why promoters are able to suck the life out of established local racing with serieses and speck(crate) racing. It nets out to your not good enough or don't have the money to win in established venues you move to where you have a chance. You do it instead of having to run towards the back or middle of established classes because you don't have the funds or skill to run up front.
Then all we read and here about is how "close" and "good" the racing is and how racing has gone down hill because of car counts. The car counts are still there, Its just been split into too many small pieces. It's been split up by racers trying to buy trophies they can afford and promoters feasting off those trying to buy a trophy.

The car counts are Not ther
America has been fleeced of most of its middle class money the last 39 years
But
The Penn Ohio was advertised as the greatest thing for stock cars ever ... and it is simply because of just a few races But
It included ( with weight) a group of people with a 350 Chevy or 351 ford or even a 360 mopar
But they decided to kick those people in the gut did the sake of the money
And thats a dam shame
Again
Like a start and park team in NASCAR
They were glad to be outgunned every time until the slickbtrack showed up and took away the money
But they have folded to the powers of the same old deal
The money

that makes absolutely no sence

believe me..I don't like the way things have gone either, its gotten way to expensive..we didn't write the rules, all we have done is try to keep up with the changes because we still have the desire to raceAgain i ask what was wrong with a cubic inch limit? Right now if a guy wants to get in racing I believe the penn Ohio deal is the best deal out there. Everyone has seen what a competitive crate late model costs are. The mods and sprints are cheaper. But, the parts to bolt on those cars are still what you pay for a top dollar team, probably more. And what kind of purse do they race for ? Peanuts. Ole grimmy, keeps stuffing her pockets and the racer keeps getting screwed.
i choose to get into racing this year and thats is the very reason why we went with a penn ohio car. I mean guys running a competive crate im sure could easily have more in there car and be racing for less money. Im not sure why guys are saying the penn ohio series is a bad deal. I mean somebody correct me if im wrong but havent the car counts/members been going up yearly? the sharon 10k race also helped out the series aswell the stands were packed.

The $10K race had 81 cars, (more pre-entered and didn’t show) and the ELM had 52-58 cars the last 3 years. I agree I don’t know why more promoters aren’t jumping on the chance to have them as a headliner one night. The support is there for sure.
Might be because promoters know that fans flock to big races like sprints and late models. That's like saying how come a high varsity football game gets 1000 fans and yet the jv games get 100 fans. Fans arent interested in the lower divisions most of the time.

Yep, that's exactly the problem. Morons like yourself think that the only racing that matters is Sprints or Late Models. The Ed Laboon race will be better then 80% of the late model races you can see at lernerville. You clowns on here get off watching 12 late models where only 3 can legit win hold it wide open on the cushion and think that is the greatest thing you ever saw.
