#444745 Greg Beach vs. Chris Schneider

Posted by honeybadger1 on 26 August 2019 - 06:24 AM

I became a fan of Beech when I saw his car at Pittsburgh Saturday
He has Slumericn Shitizen on his spoiler and I know what it means now maybe
But he never was in the same zip code or league as the king and i still hate rap music that you listen to with you momma
The king has 56 cars I believe he said he built and they are all fast if they have a driver !
Anybody that wins a feature has accomplished more than 90% of any person who ever decided to get into stock car racing ! So hats off to yo booooyyeeee
I still cant figure out if your a boy or a girl but who cares
I meant no disrespect to Beach
Just that he is not on the same level as the king

Are you the same Davy Lee that drives that twisted heap of scrap metal 96L??  If so, that would explain your affinity for Beech since his fab work is just a cut above your shit bucket with wheels.

If you understand "Slumerican Shitizen" feel free to enlighten me.  Is he lazy citizen? Shitty Amercian? or something else??

He faded back... last weekend in the 5 car.

why all this hate for the Crusher Kid??  Is he Mr. Stealyogirl? or Mr. Stealyoride?

Shaffer being let go has to be by far the most surprising thing in motorsports in some time. I mean, its one thing to get rid of someone struggling but to get rid of someone who is winning? That's bizarre.

maybe he was sleeping with the owner's wife??  everybody knows racecar drivers get serious tang

#444532 Too Many Classes

Posted by honeybadger1 on 15 August 2019 - 11:18 AM

there's some decent ideas here... i think a huge problem is having to choose a crate motor or open motor route... if you can tailor rules to allow them to competitively run together, this would be great for our sport.  Guys that have the ability and ambition to build their own motors can do so, others that want to buy a crate a drop it in can do so.  The problem becomes when tracks / sanctioning bodies get greedy and they want to monopolize.

#444487 Too Many Classes

Posted by honeybadger1 on 13 August 2019 - 06:48 AM

Over time so many classes have been formed and usually one is just a slight variation from the other.  With already too few racers out there, you now divide racers over so many classes and thus get smaller counts per class which usually equates to less entertaining racing.

If you were going to re-open (let's say Motordrome) what would your lineup look like to create a sustainable business model from the front and back gates?

Only if you're there.

you want to try that again but this time, try to make sense

#444269 this boards been dead so, naturally I got a Late model question

Posted by honeybadger1 on 31 July 2019 - 02:34 PM

Been thinking about it Hotrod11h and I hope what follows is ok.

Am I saying it correctly if I say from what you wrote I see the front end being in control of both locking down the right front and determining how the car puts the back up in the air?

If I figure what I just wrote is ok then putting rear steer into the axle by moving the left rear tire forward is it's own thing controlled and set in the back?

Then those two things along with how you set camber gain at the right front to pin as best you can the right front tire into the track is a good part of or maybe even most of super late setup now a days?

I hope the above is ok it seems to fit in my thoughts with what I previously posted about how rear steer ends up being about both hanging the front weight of the car over to the left and the direction of acceleration you get from your axle towards the pinned right front tire?

All of the above if you notice ends with question marks. :)

edit:  Naturally all of the above and what you do with it depends on track configuration, available grip, available hp and driver skill/racing needs/preference?

sure gets complicated  :)

How much world world wide webernet time do they give you at the ole folks home? apparently too much...  go eat some jello before you sprain your brain.

literature is based on content
Not spelling
Ask Ernest Hemingway
Your author you quote is white rapper M& M
And you wear a badge of honor because you obviously celebrate buying his crap music !
Im glad I dont know the song you quoted and I understand why your such a mad little tart !
Your generation thinks the world is gonna end in 12 years from cow farts !
But yes you spelled that word correctly
As long as I can spell better than Sprinter
Im doing really good
And I never lost a penny buying rap music like you
But whatever floats your boat
Ps
I dont know any JZ either !!!!!! Or Two CAP shackor def

Are you claiming that you can't spell to save your life but the babbling excrement coming out of your mouth contains content?  You sir, are the true poet, much like your dead buddy Ernest.

Quoting Marshall Mathers?  I'm not sure I did this?  If I did, you know more about the rapper than I do, you senile old hypocrite.

#442642 Greg Beach vs. Chris Schneider

Posted by honeybadger1 on 06 May 2019 - 11:50 AM

There is allot more to Chris Schneider than setups
Not sure about Beach but I did notice he won at Pittsburgh
Setups dont work across the board because of driving styles

Yes, it is more than just setup sure, but due to physics there are things that work and things that do not for ANY driving style.  Beach won many features at PPMS last year yes, but when the big boys came to play (Penn Ohio), he couldn't be found.

#437886 Gambling in Racing

Posted by honeybadger1 on 01 June 2018 - 06:28 AM

I saw something recently in social media that got me thinking.....

Would implementing some sort of gambling system in racing help bring money to tracks?  The track could generate revenue from acting as "the house" and it would bring people in the front gate who wanted to have skin in the game.

How is this any different than the MASS gambling the goes on with horse racing?

Sure, this might open up a can of worms with all sorts of problems included sandbagging, rigging races, who knows what else.....

I don't have any clue regarding the legalities of it all so it probably isn't even possible but it sure is an interesting thought eh?

#430856 Awtey Makes History at Jennerstown

Posted by honeybadger1 on 14 June 2017 - 02:12 PM

I think the free ticket idea is a really good one.  Though maybe not a good long term strategy, its a good way to inject some interest in the track.  You get people there, they will likely buy food, drinks, etc.  The more people you get, the more it makes sense for companies to advertise at the track.  It's all revenue you wouldn't have generated otherwise..

#430011 Charging Battery

Posted by honeybadger1 on 12 May 2017 - 06:34 AM

With no alternator, obviously I have to charge the battery in my car all the time.  Besides installing a kit with a small alternator (I know these are out there) does anyone have any clever solutions besides dragging a trickle charger out with an extension chord all the time?
