MY BOY ENJOYS THE PITS I DO NOT. CANT WATCH TRACK AND RACE FROM PITS.
So instead of making everybody thinking YOU are paying 115 dollars to watch at PPMS, explain that in reality you are only paying 45 and you are exaggerating to try and make it look like you are getting extra screwed.

i am not getting screwed cause i am not attending the race. that weekend either going to Fremont for Sprint show. never been there before would like to see track. or Virginia motor speedway. USA 100. i support local tracks been to everyone around this year at least once. but race at pittsburgh in 2 weeks not worth money they want to get in. funny world 100 next weekend 2 day ticket is same price as pittsburgh race. guess the racing and atmosphere is about the same to i guess. So instead of making everybody thinking YOU are paying 115 dollars to watch at PPMS, explain that in reality you are only paying 45 and you are exaggerating to try and make it look like you are getting extra screwed.

Eldora always has good prices for everything, but as I said before, their purse isnt nearly what it should/could be, and they get a whole lot more fans and cars than any other track that they dont need to charge a lot, let alone the sponsor money they receive.

It was 80 bucks at the knob early in the season to get in the pits for 3 days and thurs was only practice. The purse there was not even close to what ppms will be paying out for the pittsburgher. And in my opinion the only excitement in the firecracker feature was Miley coming from the tail to 8th everything else for the weekend with the exception of a few heats and a couple passes in the feature was boaring. And they way overcharged for that show but everyone paid it to watch the best in the world follow each other for 100 laps.
$69 for 3 huge features of great cars? plus 2 nights of free pit passes, you kidding me? Roaring knob was built by mileys wasnt it?

Enjoy your one lane race at Virginia Motor Speedway, beautiful facitily, but pretty boring races, and your eight hour drive. LOL.

he never said anything about the quality of cars, he said the racing wasnt great, and he is spot on. And the Mileys once had a part in it, but that was YEARS ago, its had many owners and managers since then so that is a point that you are reaching wayyyyy off for.

thats really funny. i was there early in year for Commonwealth 100 and they were going 2 and 3 wide in the turns with multiple lead changes. Bloomquist came from 18th to win. boring ass racing at its best. i don't mind the drive. stop at 9/11 memorial on way out.Enjoy your one lane race at Virginia Motor Speedway, beautiful facitily, but pretty boring races, and your eight hour drive. 3000 dollars to win for sprints and the big block mods....... 300 to start for 20th & 200 for 32nd. That's the way to treat the "Regulars" .......lol. charge them entry fees to pay the other purses! Yeah, you are "a Racers, Racer " N O T and "no practice" on Thursday is icing on the cake. Keep on biting the hand that feeds you...... NICE SLAP IN THE FACE TO THE LOCAL TEAMS !!!!!
there is no real reason for practice on thursday? and plus if there was a thursday practice, all you idiots on here would be complaining about the price it would cost to get in anyways..

Will you please shut the hell up! I guess you dont drive I can tell, maybe a bike or scooter if your lucky. I would rather pay $20-$25 to practice knowing my car is set up good enough to be in competition rather than take few hot laps and have something wrong that I could have fixed Thursday night.

I have driven actually, and I drove in a Pittsburgher practice... yes it is nice to have, but its not the end of the world that there isnt a whole night to practice. Most of the people, outside of the sprints and big blocks have raced there all year or multiple times. But thanks for the incorrect assumption.

Key word "Have Driven". I guess your admitting you dont now, so why do you care so much about practice?

I have to admit the price is high, but knowing my money will go into the pockets of local drivers makes it much easier for me to pay. People will always cry and complain, but if tracks like PMS ever go away, you morons would have nothing to cry and complain about. Paying out the best local Super Lates, the best local Sprints, the best local Mods and the best local Fastrack Lates is a pretty hefty payout, even given some of the purse is raised elsewhere. I would much rather watch guys like Hodgkiss be up in the top five than any of the WOO guys. I'll pay it, enjoy my time and go home happy. The ones that don't go will complain about it and probably spend your welfare and unemployment checks at the bar.
If we cross paths at the Pittsburgher I would like to shake your hand and drink a beer with you for that great post. I agree wholeheartedly.

The point I was making was is people expected there to be a practice......... and most wanted there to be one. people planned to be there Thurs, Friday & Saturday. Not.....last minute hear about entry fees and higher prices for less seat time... last year was a COMPLETE LATEMODEL SHOW BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. Andrew, do you actually blow a track owner or just swing on his nuts on here?
It depends on the day and how im feeling... and if you need practice and you have raced there all year and other years prior, theres something else wrong, sorry to say... I would rather save my equipment and tires for when it counts.
