PPMS is not a replacement for heidleburgh .. It is heidleburgh .. picked up and moved to where it is now ..
And no one has signed anything or handed the mileys a big check as of June 4th 2016 ..
No matter what happens .. the Mileys and their Cousins ! ( if you don't know who they are .. just shut up then! ) are people who
work 7 days a week but are at the racetrack every Saturday just as sure as the strip mine mud is gonna be there!
And in their spare time from working 7 days a week and running a racetrack on Saturday .. they build racecars and motors for everybody else!
Even if the keyboard cowboys on here had millions of $$$ they wouldn't have the 24 hours a day racer mentality these people have !

Did anyone else notice the survey stakes placed all over the speedway grounds last night? Looks like it is a done deal.

Aint that the truth. Everyone should be thanking Tony Stewart for the improvements. Wait till you see the place for his race, a red carpet might even be rolled out when he shows up.

Even if the Mileys don't want to sell, if the township wants them gone, in this day and age, they will be presented with a choice of poisons--sell it for less than they want, or let it be condemned and get $1, (literally), for it.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Yeah, eminent domain, meaning we will get it one way or another at a fair market value. Well to what they consider what a fair price be, much less than the real value. I have had Family members that went through this!

Of course it does.
Yes, and it basically says, "If we want it we can take it, and you can't do anything about it." By the U.S. constitution any land taken by the government must be for public use, but since the constitution is universally ignored now, the state added a "blight" clause that allows it to take any property and sell it to a developer.
