Also if you think the VSI guys are the only ones you'd be getting rid of with your new set of rules you're sadly mistaken. there were a number of guys last year running Berts and full roller motors. I know of at least 3 beside Rhed and Fuzzy

The final rules are out. They cant even add deck and spoiler height, but there going to check casting # on blocks and valve angle on the heads .
If they want to tech my motor they can check the carb ,try to pump the motor I would even let them stick there scope up my motors ass. Unless there paying 10,000.00 to win the motor will not be tore down at that track !

the Rules you're talking about are on there. "Max" deck height 38" "Max" spoiler 8" With combined max height of 43". It's all there! if you want to run your spoiler at 90 degrees, then lower your deck height to 35" nothing is stopping you. Those were all max heights! learn how to read before your rant on and on about Rules and not being clear.

one would assume that it would be easier to decrease the height of the spoiler if you wanted to run it straight up and down. however it would be less effective than an 8" spoiler. so lowering your car or decreasing the deck height would allow you more down force. As long as your spoiler was no more than 43" off the ground.

It might not be a typo that might be the measurements of the tech guys car.Or It might be the marks on his walking stick that he measures with.
How does he expect to check valve angle by just pulling the valve cover ?

Well yes I am meticulous about everything on my car. What I was Trying to say was that I don't think chassis manufactures are making their deck supports so high that you need to go hacking on them to lower them. If I buy a new car from a manufacture complete with the body do you think it would meet this rule? No. Most tracks follow Lucas or Woo body rules, so why make a bastard rule that doesn't fit the norm? This is supposed to be a simple transition class, ie. find a decent used roller, put a affordable engine and shocks on and race! JMO

Wondering, as a fan and a member of the media, are these "Semi-late" cars a limited Limited Late Model or a "super" Street Stock??? Sounds like a bastard class to me that doesn't fit with what is being run at other tracks???
GOOD RACING!!!

They make them extra high. Plus the bar leans back so the length of your deck panels significantly effects the height. If the rule is 38" you shouldn't be right at 38 anyway . I don't consider lowering a deck brace " hacking " a car. It's no big fuking deal , either cut the fuking thing or take your car to a different track
