Not to mention with a deck height of 37.375 and your spoiler at 45 degrees you would
Be right on .... Why do you need a 90 degree spoiler ??? None of the Lucas guys run them 90 degrees but surely a dude at hummingbird must run it 90 degrees !!!

Ok I think this horse is dead! Mr. Watt, please just let us know if you intended to make the rule 43" or is it a typo and should it be the same as the steel blocks 46"? Thanks

Ok. I will try and clear up a couple of things.
max height is 46 , spoiler is 8 inch max
Valve angle will be measured off of piston, we are building a tool for that for both Chevrolet and ford
Note: angle cutting the head will change the valve angle and cause failure
Hopefully we will get most everybody pumped , measured and sealed within the first month of the season

Thanks Andy. Quick question on sealing the engine, are you using the wire seals that go through head bolts? If so what size hole do you want drilled and any particular one you want drilled?

why do you look at hbird threads if you think the place is so bad? the guys racing there are doing the same thing your doing at the track you call home. having fun, hanging out with friends. your always talking them down. don't open and read if it bothers you so bad

So in this class, no aluminum heads even if they are 23 degree? That rules out all the 604 crate cars then, seems like a bad move for car counts, but good luck to all....

That's the intention to rule out the 604 crate.  it exceeds the 360 cubic inch limit.  This is not a crate late class!  it's a semi late class and is designed to be cost effective.  The original vision I think was to be a class full of used frames with pure stock motors. A beginner late model class.

604 is still 350ci. The aluminum heads and roller cam would both be illegal though.

i might be old and slow but you are afraid of all the drivers from around here no matter what class or track you have been invited to you always have an excuse and besides i have real carpenters in my family that can build a whole house not just a pre- fab deck you can buy in Chester hill /Philipsburg area .I saw Luke Hoffner finished 9th in that ice bowl race was it ?how did you do johnny? BESIDES  this class they are talking about uses late model chasis something you know nothing about .

when do we find out the payout of this class?   that determines if the class lives or dies right from the start.

The pole smokers of meth county build houses ... Cool story dude !! Your family of home builders would be digging holes and hunping lumber here. The purpose of cheap classes is to limit payouts .. If your expecting more than 3-500 to win and 50 to start your not realistic

would respect legends opinions if the insults were correct.  also bet that legend is a wanna b. i dont care how much money is spent on a car,, you must race weekly to be somebody.   big tracks like pittsburgh only need trained monkeys to drive.   legend is AFRAID to race short tracks.  somebody may break a nail or something.  i have read he has no time because he works.  big deal ,  probably on the late model show car circut.  and i would like to hear how many wins he has in the last 5 years.  never seen him at port royal or selinsgrove that i can remember.  maybe he should get some race cred before he gets on here and proclaims his vast knowlege of racing.    lets hear your race cred.

I believe what he is asking you is what have you ever Won?  In the words of Bloomquist, "Anyone with money can buy Horsepower and a car that is close to what the big guys run, but it doesn't mean they belong there."  You could travel to Eldora and Charlotte, but none of that means anything if you don't ever make a show.  All that tells me is you have money.

Limited late races at Pittsburgh back in the day and a a couple late model heat races ... I don't race against the clowns at meth mountain and I don't race very often. Winning a feature at ppms pays 1100 , and costs 1500 between tires , pit passes , fuel and engine wear for a loss of 400. Selling a 100k deck nets me over 50. You keep worrying about my wins or losses at a part time hobby and I'll keep worrying about wins and losses that actually pay money . I know those are hard concepts to understand in meth country
