" Will use lernerville weekly payout " if support is there ..

Running a crate only race at a track that has crates in a different class is limi9ting its potential !

Its a blatent sales pitch for  Crate Motors only and how fabulous it would be to have the fancy name of " Rush" for a class of cars that look exactly like the next race in the evening lineup and at speeds within 10ths of each other !

PPMS has an EXISTING weight break for 602/ 604 crate cars that look EXACTLY THE SAME AND RUN ABOUT THE SAME SPEEDS!

So mandate your Lernerville cars and the motors you sell them to show up by awarding points !

then you can be sure you have the " SUPPORT " and also have a big fancy race like the Laboon .. but with your Fancy Rush sign on the wall in the Pitts ... and then add the purses Together and pay everybody more !

Its obvious they don't want to show a Crate can compete with an open motor !

and its obvious you will not have at least the 67X ( and maybe more ! ) there in the Other sportsman race of the evening .

Lmao crate haters always gonna hate! It's what it is all coming to boys. Late models will be specials only all over the country soon very soon. Just like getting on the Trump train my as well jist on the crate train or u won't be racing to many places in next few years. Happy crate racing. (We have a super late also so don't say it's cause we only run crates) writing is on the wall!

Is it true it is also a points race for the Rush stocks at PPMS May 5th since they are off that Friday at Lernerville?

Kinda bullshit we would lose points just cause we can't dole out an extra grand for gears to run there once or twice. Should not be a points race, just an option to race somewhere on an off night.

Any track that is RUSH sanctioned in any class that also allows the GM 604 and/or 602 to compete in their Stock division gives drivers the ability to accumulate RUSH Pro Stock Weekly Series points on any given night through the end of September.  Points are based off drivers' best 12 finishes during that period.  Lernerville isn't awarding points for this race so you aren't losing points.

. Rush weekly series points have nothing to do with lernerville points , it is your best 12 finishes . You can collect them at any track that races under the Rush banner . You can race 2 nites at two tracks and have 12 in 6 weeks . Then if you finish better in race 13 on , your worst score falls off

I'm new to stock cars this year and have invested in putting together a Lernerville Rush Pro stock.  Anyone interested in a sponsorship to put towards tires and a gear to run this race and the Laboon race?  Plenty of space available on the car.  Can take the car to sponsoring events to support your business and attract people.

DS-2     There was a strong field of sportsman cars at Lernerville on Friday nights. They gave those racers no option. You either got on the train or you lost money. So from lernerville to PPMS. Change will be needed, gears, possibly springs/shocks, tires. So I ask, is it really going to be worth it for 1 night of racing ? Are guys going to take the chance of tearing a car up ? especially if they will be chasing Friday night points ?

if the Lernerville guys weren't pigeon-holed on shocks and tires this would be an easy decision.

The point being is at stampede with a fairly heavy track on the first night the fastest lap was shared by McPherson and Miller, a crate stock and an open stock. It's not as if crate's can't hang with an open with the weight brakes etc. A few different guys have run crates weekly at Sharon against the open guys. As stated earlier, they don't want crates running with opens because this would take away from their numbers and that's bad for business. If that wasn't the case they wouldn't say you can only race opens or RUSH... McPherson also did very well at Sharon for the weekly penn ohio races until he stopped coming for whatever reason. He beat Schneider in a heat. Regardless of what motor you have you have to have a good setup. On a heavy track motor can compensate for a slightly missed setup but in a feature it's a wash. Penn Ohio is well run and followed. RUSH wants no crossover and really it's understandable. PENN/OHIO is a big obstacle for them. Also as stated, there is a lot of change needed for those guys to run that 1 night so is it even worth it???

the only thing they need to change is the gear. they will be runing there own race for rush points....... so why is this such a big deal ?

if you want to actually be competitve you can't run that LM junk.  that means (at least) 4 new tires to run one race at $170 a tire.  If it isn't a big deal, float some cash to sle21, he's in this predicament.  I'm sure he'll plaster your mug on his hood.
