Funny thing, no mention of it whatsoever on their Facebook page. Nothing but 5 star reviews from everyone commenting. Oh I forgot they delete anything negative someone may post.

I bet you would feel differently if you got screwed out of first place money. If they can't follow the rules then why have any at all. BTW , we're racing not making movies.

Easy way to handle this. Shut off the mic, end the interview, tell him to leave and don't come back. This won't be the last time he causes trouble.

I believe the safety crews quit coming because the promoter wanted to charge them admission just like everyone else. The last time we were there, several years ago, they were even searching trailers and haulers entering the pits. Needless to say we never went back.

Why don't you bring it to the attention of the Lernerville management. If they treat the fans the same as us racers they will tell you " If you don't like it you can go somewhere else". And guess what, we did. They'll never get another nickel out of my pocket.

Penn Ohio has yet to post a schedule for 2022. Maybe that's the reason it doesn't appear on Lernervilles schedule. They haven't posted any rule changes either. I know there was some controversy late last season concerning Johnson clips or chassis. Don't know if this was resolved or not for 2022 season.

Maybe you should experience Lernerville from a racers point of view. I guarantee you'll have a different perspective. Some tracks are better than others. Some appreciate the racers and others don't. Some promoters will tell you "if you don't like it, go somewhere else". Nobody makes money at racing except the promotors. Us racers spend untold amounts of money to go racing , all it does is cost more and more all the time. Fuel $12 a gallon , tires are near $200 each,ya $200 ,how many do you think you need per week? Minimum of 4 if you wanna keep up with the rest of them. So if you wander why a racer gets pissed off over a bullshit call, technical or on track, try to understand that all the money we spend on racing is basically going into the promoters pocket. They need to appreciate us and realize we are the show they are selling. Without cars they have no show.

Rumor has it that Chuckles & Bozo (the tech officials ) will be checking for expired air in all RR tires tonight. Hope you're on Lernervilles good side or they'll DQ your car or even possibly ban you from their FB page. If they want you gone they'll find a way to do it. What a way to do bussiness.

Im all in favor of the motor rule. I can build a better more powerful engine for less money than we have in our 604. And I can rebuild it for much much less than the $3000 they want to rebuild a crate.

If you're going to add some loot to the payout then just dole it out equally between all divisions. Guys are going to show up to race and like I said there is a good possibility one division will never a nickel.

To run at Lernerville, late model or pro stock, you are required to use Hoosier LM tires. Compounds are LM-20,30 OR 40.You wont find any teams running these tires elsewhere. Open competition tires are preferred ( Hoosier 1350,American Racer SD-38 etc.) Therefore if you want to run at Lernerville, even just occasionally, you're going to have to buy tires that you're likely not going to use anywhere else. This is what keeps some late model teams away,especially the underfunded ones. As far as pro stocks go,you also have to run the LM tires and run the required Rush crate engine. Double whammy. This is why you don't see any Penn Ohio cars visiting Lernerville and rarly see any Lernerville /Rush pro stocks running outside of Lernerville. I think you will see their pro stock field dwindle even more in years to come. I know that as soon as our 604 shits the bed we're going to an open motor so we can race elsewhere .

I heard it was to pay for running water in the outhouses.Does anyone know if there will be an adjustment to the payout for Marion Center since they increased the price of admission?
