As long as he has a set of brass, a strong backbone, shows no favoritism, and enforces the rules ARP will be way ahead of every other track in Western Pa.....

Kinda Partial to these two... LOL
The Only real difference with them is how we build the front walk away... Somebody mentioned how nice Dave Kline's bodies are... In my honest opinion.. some of the best craftsmanship out there... and they are legal according to the rules that were voted on.. I still think there will be fine tuning with the rules...
Like it was posted earlier, and Jeff said at the meeting.. If you have a suggestion or a complaint.. Call him.. tell him who you are.... IF you think hes going to address complaints from this forum or any other.. It isn't gonna happen.. He made that clear at the meeting as well...
I wish him and his team the best of luck..
these cars look good but they are hard to biuld the front to fit, sorry jim i like mine better......decals are the best.......LOL

Just an update, after the meeting last Sunday, a well represenitive group of drivers talked to Jeff and one thing that was changed was what is called a full field. It was posted at the meeting that it was 24 cars in each class. But after a short meeting and twisting Jeff's arm they have decided to make that 20 cars.D o to the size of the track they think it is the best for all racing divisions.A.M.P. wants to thank all the drivers and owners that had their input on making the changes to the rules to benefit the majority. We know not all drivers could attend but feel each class had a fair driver count to help make changes to the rules.A.M.P.will probably meet with interested drivers every year over the winter to keep a balanced and fair approach to our racing family. We will have our finalized rules up this week.
Chuck is Jeff going to post the rules here or on the AMP web site?
Chuck when is Jeff going to post the pay out?
I could not make it to the meeting some of us have to work to bay the bills we rackup racing all summer.

The one is an asphalt nose.. I had to cut it down... The early Monte nose is definately narrow.. Still looked cool! I think its the steel roof.. Its been on that car since it was built in early 2000... We just keep fixing it.. Even after I rolled it..

They said the website should be up in a few weeks. I believe the rules had a similar timeframe and would be put on their website.

@ Chuck Stevens
Is there any plans on making the hill side a little larger in some spots? We love it up there, just wish there was a little more room to manuever up there.
The rules are completed and will be released this week.As far as the hillside I ask Jeff the question and he said that he would like to make the lower tailgate section in turn three and four wider. If he has time in the spring they will attempt to begin construction.

The semi late division is a affordable option to the other latemodel divisions and in a few short months will probably be the fastest growing division, a rule package that limits suspension spending, limits engine machine work and removes the spoiler to again level the field. The 604 engine is a roller cam engine and wilnot meet the engine specs. you have to draw a line somewhere and he decide with the older cars sittng around that a person could race this class with a reasonable investment.
What is the reasoning behind "not wanting anything to do with" crate racing at this place? Wouldn't it make sense to want to be involved with these guys??? The series in the North East Region is growing like wild fire and now that the RUSH Series is starting up.. it would make sense to me?
