Well they dropped the 6 cylinders and LimitEd Lates and just added stocks. I remember the same complaining then only there wasn't Internet and message boards.

Skull you are spot on. The track provided the rules. Guys spent thousands of dollars building cars to meet the track rules. Drivers spend a bunch more money coming to the track and putting on the show that the track profits from. Some guys have made career choices so they can be available to race on Friday nights. Then the track changes the rules and it forces racers out. I'm amazed at the people who say it's not a big deal, move on, find another track. These people don't realize the commitment some of the racers have done. It's not broke. Why mess with peoples lives who have given so much to put on the show. It's not to late for Lernerville Speedway to change its decision. As a fan for 40 years, I hope they do.

Fire all your guns at once.

I sure hope you're joking. Any idiot that makes a career choice based on a hobby deserves whatever they get.

I don't think he's saying that they quit their job or changed careers. Just made sacrifices or changed scheduling to open up every Friday to racing. Guys might leave work an hour early on Fridays to get to the track but can't get out 3 hours early to travel to another. Not just the drivers but the crews as well. it sucks for these guys, but they're on a card with supers, 410s, and big block mods. They are the nobodies at the track, even if they provide the best show of the night. It would be like having a field of 20 front wheel drives mad at any other track. No matter how mad they are, and no matter how good they race, not that many people will care unfortunately.

Correct, but the 6 cy car count got smaller. Claimers were also on the decline semi-late"s were later became stocks. I raced claimers and semi-late"s. Yes some complained and you will always have that. But they did not force you to but their motors.Yeah i know don"t like it move on! I have. Driving an extra hour or so won"t kill me,i"ll still see racing and at the end of the day that"s what it"s all about.

Move on . Due to one of my trucks being down this weekend I had to drive my f-450. Gas. I went to mercer Friday for the little guy nationals and then Saturday I ventured to dog hollow for the UFO race. OK, people say get over it move on.

Mercer with my f-450, which is a 2014 and yes it tows, from my north hills location. It used just under a half tank of fuel, with no trailer, if pulling one of my trailers and a race car we may have had to stop for gas. Dog hollow it used over half tank, pulling a car up to the dog would probably have taken a tank and a half easy.

So since lernerville decided to shit on there most consistent car count class. And stop with the there only street stocks. That back gate has no idea what's coming threw it. As long as X amount of people come threw there in the green. Your sprint car, SLM, and modified are paying the same as my sportsman car that you now want to force up my ass that if I want to race here it's going to cost me 10 grand plus and let's not forget my perfectly good 400 just be became a boat anchor.

Back to my gas story. You have any idea how much my fuel bill just went up ? My time, because both of these places didn't even come close to there advertised starting time also changed from 1 hr travel time to 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 plus. Maybe your time means nothing. I get a lot for mine.

Someone said, why call Tomson's ? There not in this to lose money. Again, the comment to me was, WE APPRECIATED YOUR CALL. If you think for one minute they are not watching this. Your mixing jack Daniels with your fruit loops. The more calls, the more concerns they are going to have.

Especially when that back gate isn't in the green anymore.

If you want to race, you go to tracks that have your division. Lernerville has opted to drop your chosen division. Get over it and race elsewhere, or build your car to their specs. Being a cry baby about it isn't getting you anywhere

Hardly anyone disagrees that Lernerville is making a mistake by mandating crate engines in the Sportsman Division.  But, apparently that is the case.   While many of you have valid complaints, it looks like the handwriting is on the wall.  No sense beating a dead horse.

Flash, it's unfortunate but with a attitude like that, you mite as well say where all screwed. Again, the racer is what the people sitting in the stands are paying to see. You keep saying well just go play elsewhere. When someone makes a choice to go racing most times it is at there local speedway. The place closest to them. It is rare that race teams travel anymore. They race 1 night a week, and that's usually at the closest venue. Take that away or make stupid rule changes and you have cars and motors that have just become useless. Only time will tell come next season.

Rare that people travel? Have you seen the attendance at the penn/ohio races? The only argument I see is that Lernerville is the ONLY track in Western pa with a weekly stock car count anymore. Everyone is traveling these days. No one wants to run their home track for peanuts when there are good paying shows all year long now. 50 at the laboon to start the year and 50 at little guys to end the year. Those tracks usually get 8-15 at their weekly shows. Guys love to travel. Just not for weekly purses.

It doesn't matter. You're crying about something that isn't going to be changed. No one disagrees that this is a shitty move, but the same 4 dorks turn every topic into a sob session. Get over it and move on.

It's real simple, jerky. If you don't like it don't read it. You know, I don't go to Sharon, and other than looking to see who wins the BB feature, I could give a rats ass less what happens up there.

It's real simple, dopey. if you don't want to race or watch a crate stock car, don't go to Lernerville. I originally felt bad for those guys, but now with all of the bitching and whining, I could give a rats ass less they are getting run off.

First off jo73, I never told you or anyone else to go race elsewhere.   But if memory serves me correctly, I remember not so long ago you telling the PPMS guys that got screwed to go race somewhere else.  Apparently when someone pisses on your boots it's a little different.
