PPMS is a option. But, let's hope PPMS, is still around in a couple years. With what's going on there it has put things on a back burner. The penn ohio series has been a good thing for the sportsman guy's. I hope it continues. People voice there opinions on here in hopes that maybe the right person gets the meßage. Do you think PPMS management got that message after screwing the crate racers ? I think it did. Someone got muzzled. Again, I go back to lernerville because I have been going there for over 40yrs. been in the pits working, been in the stands watching. Why do you destroy what has been working for years, years. All anyone has asked is a explanation as to why ? NONE.. Take it or leave it. If you don't want to have a voice then stop reading forums. Nobody voted for Obama either. And the small employers got slammed up the ass to. That's a hole other story. My profit margin getting hit was just great.

It's real simple, dopey. if you don't want to race or watch a crate stock car, don't go to Lernerville. I originally felt bad for those guys, but now with all of the bitching and whining, I could give a rats ass less they are getting run off.

Yeah, so what's your point? You don't go there, you don't race there, yet you feel the need to call out the fans and Stock teams because they are rasing hell. For someone that claims not to care about it, you sure have a lot to say. Maybe if you clowns would have bitched about what Emig was doing at MRP, she would have kept the Big Blocks. No, we'll just go race somewhere else. Now, we only have two tracks for Big Blocks and you call me dopey. Go f*ck yourself you little twerp.

All your old man had to do was drive 25 miles up the road, unload and race. Yet, you want to act like you know exactly what these guys are going through. You have no idea, so why don't you jump on another thread and annoy another group of people, asshole.

Nah I'll stay here and piss you off some more grandpa. You can act tough and talk shit all you want, stocks are still getting dropped and you're still a bitch.

I see both sides of this argument, and I can agree with points raised by both sides. Thing is, it's done. We're going to have to accept it and move on. Rehashing it over and over again is making this board turn into Groundhog Day.

Jo73...seriously?    You are driving a $ 40-50,000 pickup and your complaining at the extra gas it took?   You need to prioritize your life a little more.   If the extra gas is breaking your budget, maybe that new pickup is part of the problem....otherwise suck it up (free straws are at Burger King)

Do you for once believe your own post?   Tomson "Appreciated the call"  You seem very gullible.   Fact is, if they cared, they would have asked the classes opinions BEFORE making a move.  They already made their choice, and now you hope its in pencil so they erase it.   That says something about the track.  That says more about you and the others who want them to change their mind.   You guys are seriously hopeless and desperate?   You are getting $hit on, and yet you think that $hit tastes good, and your justification is because you spend a couple extra bucks and hours in your brand new pickup.   Big freakin $hit.   Racers don't value time, they only value time they want to keep.   I would spend 30 hours a week prepping the car, 30 UNPAID hours a week, to race 40 minutes, and spend another $150 in expenses to do so.   Our local track opened back up after a long closing, and I refunded the car, new enclosed trailer, tires, etc.   I put all my eggs in that basket...shortly after the basket closed.

In theory, there are 2 schools of thought.   1. I spent a bunch of time and money to put a front running car on the track for you to put on a show, you owe me, I share no responsibility

2.   I put all my eggs in the same bag, and when it crumbled, I was left holding the bag.   I am responsible for my own actions.

You cant control the track, but you can control your response.   Its just sad that the only reason you are happy being $shit on, is because its a local track doing so, and you will proudly eat that $hit, as long as you don't have to pay a couple extra bucks in gas or a couple extra hours

I'm wondering if that place isn't making much more money they they let on .... It might be making enough that tomson figured the current management is doing great and there's no reason to question them ? Them allowing this to happen speaks volumes about the places balance sheet

Exactly. You don't have to like them or their choices, but if they weren't making money they wouldn't be there anymore. The point of being in business is to make money, not to please everyone.

If you are displeased enough, don't spend your money there, easy enough.

If you please everyone, you'll likely make momoney.

 IT'S JUST PLAIN COMMON SENSE!

I took it as the opposite- they needed some GM cash to pad the balance sheet because it was thin or over valued.  Didn't we already say the sales price Lernerville reportedly sold for in 2005 was $3.5M but just now is only worth $1M?

Ramsey31. Actually it cost 67,000.00 I can afford the gas. My fuel bill alone last year was 34,000.00. When I made that post I doubt very highly if the average racer, yes sportsman guy's, can tow every week and absorb fuel costs like that. When you take over successful businesses. You keep your management around because he is the best you got until you can start making decisions on your expenditures. But then again most people fail in business because they think it's so dam easy.

Just shows what DIRT and good ol' Mr. Risch did to the place. Talk about a value decrease. That's why its up to Tomsons to renew the vigor of what used to be one of the greatest racetracks in the country. But they started off wrong by putting to much faith in their current GM. Ive said that many times.

By the way Hotdog, youre a c0ck. This BS about "dont like it, race somewhere else" talk is stupid. Do you understand the history that some of those families have had at that speedway? To just pack up and leave? The tradition some of those guys have had there? Past champions and past winners to just "race somewhere else"? Travel expenses and work schedules that factor in, to now have to drive an extra hour or 2 to race and have fun for 350 bucks?? Yes, that may be exactly what they have to do. But for you to insult them the way you are just for putting up a fight and having reasons to complain about the way they are getting shafted, truly shows a lot about your classless character. This place and that division meant a lot to these drivers.

I'm not saying if you don't like it race elsewhere. I'm saying you have 2 choices. Build your car to spec, or race where you're legal. All of the pissing and moaning in the world isn't gonna change what's already done. All you can do is let it play out and hope you're right about it failing. Whining and badmouthing the track and management isn't going to endear you to them and make them change their mind. It's just gonna make them say fuk those guys.

So Hotdog. Sometimes people realize their mistake by listening to other people. Then at times they change their position. Why does it concern you as to other peoples attempts to try and save an amazing class of racers at Lernerville. We love this place and this class. You don't. So why tell us your opinion when you have no skin in the game. Maybe it works and maybe it does not. At least we care enough to try.

Fire all your guns at once.
